Reviews
Reviews summaryWe thought the road trip already had amazing reviews but it wasn’t until we went on the cruise we knew there is a much better view on the ocean! There are many different cruise companies and the Pure Milford boat is definitely the better looking boat out of the lot! So we were happy with that. Tip - best seats are at the lower deck and at the front of the boat! Also loved the commentary during the cruise and also get complimentary tea, coffee, hot choco etc. Milford rains about 250 days in a year and we were very lucky to get a sunny day. So definitely bring a warm jacket, sunnies, beanie and maybe a raincoat. Thank you again for the amazing cruise!
We visited Milford Sound on a rainy day, and the waterfalls were absolutely magnificent. The cruise was a great experience, and they even offered free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience. It was a bit cloudy so the views weren't the greatest but we were allowed onto the front deck of the ship which made the experience really enjoyable especially when the ship went close to the waterfalls and we could feel the spray. Free hot chocolate, coffee and tea was provided as well.
A stunning location and a great tour. Did not realise there is a flight option so well worth checking out in order to get there an enjoy the views but a boat tour is also superb. You get to go right under some of the waterfalls and a chance to spot some of the rarest penguins on earth. 100% must do for those who enjoy scenic days out.
The scenery was breathtaking, with towering cliffs and waterfalls. The boat was comfortable, and the crew were friendly and informative. Seeing wildlife like seals and dolphins added to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
booking was made so simple with klook. travel tip: book the earlier time slot if you’re on a self drive itinerary to avoid the tour bus crowd. So provide a contactable phone number as information on trip cancellation will be communicated via message. a trip not to be missed, advise to reach earlier as there are many nice scenic points for photos!
Amazing cruise and the commentary on board was so funny. Easy to check in at the terminal. Needs to allocate 3hrs of driving time b4 departure as there are pit stops along the way.
We had a wonderful time with the crew from Pure Milford. The boat was spacious even with capacity crowd. there is also a cafe on board if you are feeling peckish.
Tour actually got canceled 2 times because of storm. Luckily, it was still able to push through while we are near the area. Nice experience. Would’ve been nicer if it’s raining, but nice nonetheless.
experience: Excellent! so worth the money and time! The crew onboard is super helpful! great photography skills as well location: We parked at free area and hike for 25 minutes, smooth experience. No complaints
