Other Reminders
- As the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are religious sites, please ensure your knees and shoulders are covered. Hats and flip flops are not permitted, and entry may be refused if the dress code is not followed
- The Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, so speaking is not allowed inside. Your guide will explain the highlights before you enter
- St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings until 13:30 due to the Papal Audience, so tours during this time will not include basilica entry. Tours starting after 15:30 are also not guaranteed entry. The Vatican or St. Peter’s Basilica may close unexpectedly for state visits or special religious events
- This tour includes group access to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, allowing you to skip the long line for independent visitors. You may still need to wait at security
