Guide
Wansuishan Wuxia City is located in the Wansuishan Scenic Area in the northwest of Kaifeng City, and is a large-scale scenic area built with Song Dynasty culture and martial arts culture as its background. The scenic area features ancient and charming Song Dynasty garden streets and alleys, with wonderful martial arts and costume performances throughout the year, as well as rich entertainment facilities, making it a good place for relaxation and entertainment in Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, and other surrounding areas.
When visiting Wansuishan Wuxia City, the first thing you experience is the beautiful scenery of the scenic area. The entire Wuxia City creates a Song Dynasty atmosphere, with many eye-catching attractions such as Wansui Temple, which recreates the glory of a thousand-year-old ancient temple from the Song Dynasty; the Dragon Altar, which embodies the spirit of Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism; the Ming and Qing ancient city wall ruins, which are currently the most complete in the world; and "Jiulong Waterfall," one of the largest artificial stream and waterfall groups in China. What is rare is that the scenic area also has very large forest green spaces, with a quiet environment, and flowers blooming in every suitable season, making it very suitable for taking photos.
Afterward, visitors will notice the unique martial arts characteristics of the scenic area. Here, 36 (about 60 per day) martial arts-themed theatrical performances are launched throughout the year. Several themed plays such as "Shizipo," "Wu Song Drunkenly Beats Jiang Menshen," and "Wild Boar Forest" are quite exciting and should not be missed. Interactive performances such as "Martial Arts Film and Television Experience Hall," "Martial Arts Champion," and "Li Kui's Judgment" also allow visitors to participate in martial arts stories, which are full of fun. In the architectural design of the scenic area, there are also many martial arts elements. The Martial Arts Road with large weapons such as "Yitian Sword" and "Bawang Saber," the "Hero Map" of the Great Song Martial Arts Hall, the "Sword Altar" of Shizipo, Juxianzhuang, and the Martial Arts Conference venue all have unique characteristics.
In addition, during the Spring Festival every year, Wansuishan holds a large temple fair, with grand performances, rich specialty snacks, dazzling handicrafts, and unique entertainment activities, creating a lively atmosphere. It has now become one of the most popular temple fairs in the Central Plains region.
