A national AAAA-level tourist attraction, known as the "First Beautiful Water Under Heaven" and one of the "Five Wonders of Huangshan," it is the longest canyon in the eastern part of Huangshan Mountain. It gets its name from the more than a hundred colorful pools scattered like emeralds throughout the valley. It is also called "Lover's Valley" due to the heartwarming story of young people from Shanghai who found love amidst hardship in 1988, and it was a filming location for the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." The valley features over 100 colorful pools of various sizes and shapes, which, under sunlight, display a multitude of colors such as emerald green, blue-green, and orange-yellow. It is hailed as an "earthly fairyland," suitable for couples, families, and light hikers.
