Review for: Bifenggou & Ganba Tibetan Village Full-Day Nature Tour

Although we chose a Chinese-speaking tour by coach, there were other passengers in the group who could speak English. They were very kind and helpful, which made us feel the friendliness and warmth of the people around us. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the air was so fresh. It felt completely different from the cities in China — peaceful, relaxing, and truly enjoyable.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The scenery at Bipenggou is beautiful, though it was a bit chilly because I didn't wear enough layers. The food at the scenic area wasn't great; I recommend bringing your own snacks. The Tibetan village in the afternoon was an unexpected delight. I found a Tibetan-style photography studio in town and originally wanted my dad to join me, but he was shy (typical reserved Chinese parents). I took a set of photos and really loved them! The day's itinerary was quite packed, but the tour guide and driver were reliable and enthusiastic. I recommend them!

The scenery at Bipenggou is quite beautiful, with green alpine meadows, snow-capped mountains, and lakes creating a rich and varied landscape. My child was especially excited to see the snow-capped mountains and flower fields for the first time. The paths in the scenic area are gentle and easy to walk, making it suitable even with small children. It's a great value for a one-day trip.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Ganbao Tibetan Village. It's entirely made of stone houses. Sitting by the roadside in the village and taking a break, you can really soak in the culture and daily life. It's a very peaceful experience.

The snow-capped mountains, alpine lakes, and waterfalls at Bipenggou are so cool you'll want to wear a jacket. In early July, the wildflowers on the meadows are in full bloom, and photos by the lake look like they have a built-in filter. The stone houses in Ganbao Tibetan Village are very charming. The full-day trip isn't rushed, and you can even return to Chengdu for hotpot in the evening. Perfect.

To be honest, it was quite an early start, but luckily I managed to catch some sleep in the car. The winding mountain road up to Bipenggou almost made me dizzy, but the scenery and air were truly wonderful. Compared to major attractions, I personally don't think Bipenggou offers great value for money. The Tibetan-style town in the afternoon was very quiet. I couldn't quite understand what the local elderly people were saying, but they seemed very genuine. Overall, I was satisfied with the itinerary; it was just a day trip for the sake of convenience and cost-effectiveness.

It was a bit rainy the day we went, but the rain stopped by the time we arrived at Bipenggou. The bus was very clean, and the tour guide gave a brief explanation on the bus before dropping us off at the park entrance, allowing us to explore on our own. This arrangement was quite good, as it gave us more freedom to move around the scenic area. The entire day was quite long, which is understandable given the distance. Next time I have the opportunity, I'll choose a longer tour.

I just went on July 19th, and Bipenggou was so cool and refreshing! Chengdu was scorching hot, but here it was only in the 50s (Fahrenheit), with lush green forests and lakes formed by melting snow from the mountains everywhere you looked. When the sun hit them, they looked like blue-green gems. The stone houses in Ganbao Tibetan Village were very charming, and the prayer wheels and colorful flags in the village were especially photogenic. A one-day trip is actually enough; you can leave in the morning and return in the evening. Just remember that meals aren't included, so bring some snacks, though instant noodles are also sold in the scenic area. The driver was very steady on the mountain roads, and the tour guide explained Qiang and Tibetan history on the bus. We didn't visit any shops throughout the trip, which was great for pure sightseeing. A reminder: bring a thick jacket, as it's windy at the top of the mountain!

Review for: Bifenggou & Ganba Tibetan Village Full-Day Nature Tour

It only took three hours to get to Bipenggou from Chengdu, which was closer than I expected. The scenic area isn't huge, but it still takes a while to explore at a leisurely pace. The stream water is very clear and cool, and the air is incredibly fresh. We spent about an hour exploring Ganbao Tibetan Village on the way; the stone houses are very unique, and we even saw an old woman weaving 'pulu' (Tibetan wool fabric) at her doorstep. It felt more authentic than purely commercialized ancient towns.

The departure time was quite early, but thankfully, they picked us up directly, saving us the rush of having to get up early and find a taxi to the meeting point. The scenery was beautiful, with mountains and rivers. Spending the afternoon leisurely exploring the Tibetan village was also very pleasant.
