Reviews
The pier is easy to find. It's a direct 30-minute trip from Central Pier to Disneyland Resort. The boat was clean and charmingly decorated, and it even had a restroom. I got my tickets at a discount, so it was a great value.
Experience: It's incredibly fast to get to Disneyland from Hong Kong Island. In the morning, there are two ferry services from Central Pier to Disneyland Pier. Upon arriving at the pier at 9:30 AM, staff check tickets and then distribute a postcard and a large reusable bag, both valued at $30. Once on board, many large character mascots were already seated, and everyone was orderly taking photos. The half-hour ferry ride quickly brought us to Disneyland Pier, and then it was just a 6-minute walk to the Disneyland entrance, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, this experience only runs until June 30th; otherwise, I would definitely take the ferry to Disneyland again in the future.
It was my first time chartering a boat with friends, and I was a little nervous. We boarded at Pier 6, where there were four stamps available. There were also four stamps available at the bow of the boat. The only downside was that the Disney Pier is quite far from public transportation, so we had to walk a long way.
Before booking, I made sure to check the booking details and plan specifics, but in the end, I managed to book my ideal time slot. For the round trip on the morning of the 25th, the 10 AM sailing had about 40 people. For a single-deck layout, this should be sufficient, as everyone wants to take photos and get stamps. If there were more people, they might need to set up another large mascot display on the second deck, even though the cruise ship can visually accommodate over 200 people, including the second deck. There's air conditioning, and the interior of the ship is comfortable. I won't provide internal pictures (so you can experience it yourself); it's a new experience, and I think it's quite good. There's a soda machine on board, but unfortunately, I couldn't order blackcurrant soda as it wasn't available. I'll probably take the night trip again; I imagine it offers a different experience than the morning one.
The staff were very polite, it wasn't crowded, and there were many Duffy and Friends plush toys of all sizes. Everyone on the boat was projected from start to finish. It would have been even better if someone had been there to help take photos. However, the waves were a bit big, but 30 minutes was manageable. It was a unique experience. Hong Kong Disneyland's strategy for this arrangement is excellent, allowing them to compete with Singapore's Disney Cruise Line.Experience:
Smooth and comfortable, we arrived at the shore quickly!
The Duffy and Friends themed cruise is adorable and beautifully decorated on the outside. Inside, there are many large and small character plush toys for decoration. Onboard, you can take photos with the characters and get stamps. The seating on the boat is very comfortable, and the air conditioning is excellent. It's a wonderful experience.
we bought a ticket with a Disneyland One Day Pass included and rode the ferry from the disneyland pier to central. it was worth it. it gave us around a scenic view of the harbour and received freebies. the activities inside the ferry includes picture opportunities with the giant plushies of the duffy and friends characters, a d collecting stamps. highly recommend esp if you wish to skip the rush at the mtr after momentous.
A rare new experience; the entire Disney series was perfect for photos, and the boat trip was very smooth, making for a happy experience 🥳 Experience:
