Such a fun and unique experience. Lee was a fantastic teacher and made the activity fun and friendly. Highly recommend as a chance to make your own souvenir to take home as a memory
The workshop was a great experience! Lee/Li (I'm sorry, I'm not sure 😕) was really nice, great communication and knowledge. Definitely a must experience if you have some time to spare!
Lee was fantastic! He was incredibly helpful, personable and friendly. He gave us cultural history, local recommendations and was patient with us while we made our chopsticks. It is great for all ages, and a wonderful souvenir. He kept the conversation flowing, while also allowing us to enjoy each other as a family. I highly recommend him, and his new venture!!
Our guide, Lee, was very friendly and immediately helped whenever we had difficulties. He explained everything well, and the instructions were easy to follow! I was only surprised that there was an extra charge for the chopsticks you wanted. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun, and the final product turned out really nice!
the price stated here was good, experience was all good. but there's additional cost such as engraving charges ( 10,000won) , choosing better wood type up to (50,000won). I chose Juniper wood which cost another (30,000won) . there's free one but doesnt look much pretty. Good thing was i decided to make two pairs and they didnt charge another worshop fees anymore. ededup i spent around 100,000won in total
I attended the chopstick making workshop yesterday and really enjoyed it! Go Eun (목고은) the instructor, spoke fluent English and explained each step clearly which made it so easy to follow. Go Eun was so cool I hope her boss gives her a raise 🍻The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and I felt really comfortable trying something new. This activity is great for solo travellers too. I liked that we got hands on experience and could ask questions anytime. Overall it was a great experience and I'd definitely recommend this to others.
It was a great experience and we have our very personal handmade souvenir now. They do upselling (only 2 bright and light ones inlcuded). We chose exclusive wood (+40'000 pp) but no engraving(+10'000 pp). Our results has some small 'individualities' but we're very happy with the 2 sets of chopsticks we produced.
It was a great experience! I had fun in making these chopsticks together with my mom and sister. The instructor is super nice, speaks good English and helps wherever needed. I definitely recommend going here.
I had a great time making chopsticks for my husband and me. The instructor was very well spoken in English and very clear in his directions. It was a great time and a fun way to make a personal souvenir.
Had a great time at this new little workshop in Insadong. It was easy to find, and Lee was very friendly upon arrival. We had a large selection of woods to choose from, and the process was very simple to follow with instructions in English. At the end, we could have the chopsticks stamped with any phrase, and sent off with them beautifully packaged! I would definitely bring family/friends to do this together.
