Reviews
Highly recommended if you are looking for a unique, somewhat less "obvious touristy" thing to do in NYC. The speakeasy bars are unique, different from one another, and the stories behind them are quite mind-blowing. And of course, the cherry on top is the wonderful guide. Katherine was wonderful, and really immersed us in the history of speakeasy and prohibition law history. Better enjoyed if you know at least a little bit of American history. The drinks at the bars were all excellent. They were a bit pricey, but hey, this is New York. The high prices were somewhat expected. A potential bonus to this tour, especially if you love getting acquainted with new people and making new friends, that can come somewhat naturally within the tour group with all the booze!
