Tranquil Escape at Svaha Spa Seminyak Sanctuary in Bali

I had high expectations for this spa, given it's part of a chain, but I was a bit disappointed. It's a hotel-affiliated spa with only one treatment room, and no shower or toilet facilities. While there were 6-7 types of oils prepared in the treatment room, I wasn't asked about my oil preference. Luckily, the scent wasn't one I disliked, but choosing an oil is part of the experience, so that was a minor letdown. The therapist was experienced and the treatment itself was skillful, but I felt there were some unconventional aspects to her technique. I hope for improved staff training in the future.

This is a small, one-room spa located within a hotel. The reception staff's service was not smooth, which caused me a lot of stress. (I understand it's partly my fault for not speaking English.) Please note that while other spas scan vouchers, this one takes a photo of your voucher. There is no restroom in the treatment room, so be sure to use the facilities beforehand. The veteran staff member was skilled, but unfortunately, the back massage was not evenly balanced on both sides. I believe this is a relatively new establishment, and I hope to see improvements in the future.
