What to expect
The rhythmic sound of the tufting gun, colorful threads being worked onto surface, and the pattern slowly emerging beneath your hands. In our spacious atelier between Galataport and Galata Tower, you weave your own rug in the most popular branch of modern textile art.
Learn to use the tufting gun, the fundamental tool of contemporary textile art. Choose from ready designs or bring your own idea. Work threads onto surface step by step, then trim edges and apply backing. You do every step yourself.
Wide variety of colorful threads: vibrant, pastel, neutral tones. Your instructor guides you in Turkish, English, or Russian. While creating, observe other workshops like ebru and mosaic.
Finished piece ready to hang or lay down. Sessions daily 08:00 to 23:00. Groups up to 25.
