Herb Tteulak is a Korean herb garden created by a retired teacher and an education professor.
More than a sightseeing spot, it offers a chance to slow down, relax, and experience rural Korean life.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at this herbal workshop. We were picked up from the station and driven about 20 minutes to the beautiful garden where the workshop was held. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Despite limited English, they made us feel comfortable, safe, and included throughout the day. We started by making Yeonnipbap, a traditional Korean dish of pink glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaves and steamed. While it cooked, we enjoyed a refreshing homemade lemonade made from ingredients picked fresh from the garden. Lunch included the delicious rice along with a variety of homemade pickled vegetables. The herbal oil workshop was both educational and relaxing. We smelled fresh and dried herbs and enjoyed tea made from freshly picked herbs and flowers. We finished with a walk through the garden, tasting wild berries, and a visit to a UNESCO World Heritage site to see Korean dolmens and enjoy fresh Korean cherries. Highly recommended
