Hanoi Bat Trang Ceramic Village Half-Day Tour with Electric Motorbike

I had a fantastic morning out with Benny, visiting the Bat Trang ceramics village. I tried my hand (and failed) on the pottery wheel, chatted with a local pottery artisan over tea and toured through the original part of the factory. we also visited the beautiful pagoda with its ornate ceramic tile work. I was lucky enough to be invited into the home of a veteran of the American War who talked with me about his traditional house and his family over yet more tea. the morning finished with lunch back in Hanoi - what else but bún chả? Benny was a great rider and really knowledgeable about everything we visited, ably facilitating communication with locals. The only drawback was that we didn’t visit all the places reflected in the advertised itinerary, but the itinerary we did do was awesome!

The lady who helped us with the pottery was wonderful too , incredibly patient with us and made the experience even more enjoyable. Such a lovely day and definitely one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. ❤️
