Ninh Binh Full-Day Tour: Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An & Mua Cave

We had a great day with our guide Long! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he came prepared with rain jackets. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the tour was smooth and fun. The rowboat ride was amazing. Highly recommend Long and this tour if you’re visiting Ninh Binh!

VERY packed day and definitely worth it! Our guide, Don, was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Though he mostly did the tour in Vietnamese, he was very attentive to us English speakers and would check up on us, how we were doing, what we thought, and helped take pictures of us. The trip takes about 2-3 hours one way, so consider the schedule if you intend to have another itinerary after this (we did and we missed it, lol). There's a bamboo products factory as a rest stop/bathroom break and fortunately, they accept cards if you want to buy anything there. One of the highlights for us was the buffet, lol. It had vegetarian options which had us really stuffed. Which I do sort of recommend doing since the Tràng An boat tour took us about 2-3 hours. And we were helping with the paddling!

I participated on December 16, 2024. I would like to praise the tour guide Harry William... We were not able to get to the Hanoi Opera House on time due to traffic jams. Harry communicated with me via whatsapp voice call to know that we were already there Taking a Grab Taxi, he took the initiative to ask me to hand the phone to the driver and asked the driver to drop us off at the roadside where the tour bus would pass. We were able to join the group smoothly.... As for the itinerary, this The tour should be very rich. First we visited the temple on the top of the Pagoda (but we didn’t climb the tower), then we went to a relaxing place to have lunch buffet, then we took a boat trip to Lulong Bay, we went through some caves by boat, and finally We should go to mua cave, and then we can go to mua mountain at our own expense. Going up to this mountain is not enough without a little physical energy. Finally, the tour bus returned to Hanoi at about 8 o'clock in the evening~ Harry organized the whole tour very well, and he was funny. His melancholy style and beautiful singing can always bring up the atmosphere. Finally, when I returned to Hanoi at around eight o'clock in the evening, he dropped off at my designated old town hotel at my request. This arrangement is also worthy of praise! Finally, if you want to To join this group, it is best to get enough sleep the day before, and it is not recommended to do any physical activities the day before, otherwise you may feel very strenuous when climbing Mua Mountain.

We booked an itinerary without hotel pick-up. Klook contact person Tuan helped us adjust it and changed it to include pick-up at our hotel, so that the 9 of us did not have to walk to the opera house! Tour guide No.1 is very humorous. Ninh Binh is his hometown. He introduced us to his family members and his hometown. We took a battery car to visit the Guanyin Temple. We couldn’t enter the Bai Ninh Pagoda, but we could take pictures outside. Very beautiful! The trip to Chang'an is my favorite. We sat on the boat and the boatman took us around the entire Chang'an. It took about an hour to circle around the lake. The only pity was that we didn't have time to stay in Chang'an and couldn't take a good tour of this place! But if any friends want to come, I will still recommend klook’s itinerary👍

This tour is perfect for those who doesn’t want to trek the Mua Cave! Although there were many stairs on Bai Dinh but is is managable. Wear comfortable shoes. Buffet lunch was MEH, I didn’t personally like it but could be different from the others.

Trang An, this is Ninh Binh's last tour and it is indeed the best. Nice view, ride an ordinary boat that has to be rowed with all your strength. Large lake, this tour takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. It's really satisfying to wander around Skull Island where the Kong film takes place. It's really cute and this is similar to Phuket, Thailand when taking a tour to Phiphi Island, Jamesbond Films. You can buy this 1 day tour on Klook, but if you want to buy it directly around Hanoi's Old Quarter you can also do it. There are many travel agents who sell Ninh Binh tours including Halong Bay tours. Overall, I was very satisfied with this tour. Just go home and get tired.

I enjoyed the trip even though the weather is a bit gloomy. Our tour guide, William is a nice guy and he speaks decent English. Probably the best part is visiting the Hàng Mua Peak. It is not included in the itinerary, but you can buy a separate ticket at 100k VND. Lunch is just so so. Overall, an enjoyable trip. Thank you, Klook.

It's a good memory. I made a reservation through Clock, but there was no place to choose a pick-up location, but other passengers were picked up and paid.. Be sure to check the pickup service when paying for Clock. The guide was embarrassed that there was a problem with the reservation system that provided the pickup service. I felt relieved when I heard that Jeong Jung-hee's apology company was going to take action. I had no choice but to walk from the hotel on Beer Street to the opera house to see the meeting place for about 30 minutes. It was the fourth day, but why was it so hot that day? .ㅋ The trip was great. I was part of a group from Singapore, China, Taiwan, and one country in Europe whose name I didn't know before. We traveled with a simple conversation. Like other trips, we also visited a shop here. No one bought anything. After visiting Bai Dinh Temple, it was a buffet lunch, but not that good for Koreans… Until you get really sick of Trang An boat tours... . It’s too long… I asked the boatman to give me a tip, but I went down to number 1 and dropped her all the way to the last stop, so I had a good time. And the guide, Dyian, was a very kind and kind friend. He took great pictures and sent them to me via KakaoTalk. Thank you^^*

Guide ‘William’ was very friendly and nice. However, the weather for that tour was very hot and difficult. Bai Dinh Temple was great, but the boat tour in Trang An was too hot and the boatman in charge of us was too weak and slow. I had to sit in the scorching sun for two hours, and it was so hot and tiring that I couldn't see the scenery. It was a trip with my mom, and she had a hard time. The two foreign women in front of me folded several layers of the bamboo rug that was on the chair, probably because their butts were hurting. My butt really hurt and my back hurt. Actually, I wouldn't recommend it because you'll be looking at the same scenery for two hours straight. On other blogs and YouTube, I heard about going into a cave and riding a boat, but there was nothing like that. I think it would have been a bit cooler if we had gone into the cave. Anyway, the tour wasn't that great, but it was comfortable and nice because we received a confirmation KakaoTalk message the day before the tour and were contacted in detail on the day of the tour!
