There was a small misunderstanding with the service I booked via Klook, as it turned out to be hairstyling rather than a barber cut. The shop kindly added a complimentary hot and cold face massage to make up for it, which I appreciated and decided not to pursue further with Klook. Ms Kim Ngan followed my instructions well, and the cut and styling turned out wonderful. The massage was very relaxing — I even fell asleep and woke up feeling refreshed. At the payment counter, I was asked to leave a positive Google review and tip if I enjoyed the service. It felt slightly awkward, and I tipped 50,000 VND before leaving. While I really liked my new hairstyle, I did wonder if that was the most comfortable way to handle reviews and gratuities. Would I return? Maybe 40% — otherwise, I would likely visit my regular hairstylist back in Singapore instead.
