Formosa Yacht Hotel - Venice Restaurant

The Venetian Restaurant at Formosa Yacht Resort offers a wide variety of dishes and a spacious dining area, which I highly recommend. I hope the restaurant will introduce new menu items next time.

The Venice Restaurant's dishes lean towards a Western style with a touch of creative fusion. The presentation is exquisite, and the flavors are of a certain standard. The main courses are cooked to the right doneness, and the sauces and side dishes are well-coordinated, avoiding the common tourist hotel problem of "looking good but being average." The desserts are also surprisingly good, not too sweet, and provide a comfortable finish.

We had delicious lobster bisque and red crab late in the holiday. The dining environment was comfortable, and there was a wide variety of seafood. My friends and I had a great time dining together.

If you're looking for a dinner spot during your day trip to Tainan, this is a great choice. While the variety of dishes might not be as extensive as other places, they have all the essentials. Plus, the crème brûlée is absolutely delicious! They also clear plates very quickly! I loved it! The food tasted great, especially the crème brûlée.

Tonight, the dinner crowd was very large. The speed of refilling food and plates was a bit slow, but the fried items were quite good. The dessert section could use some improvement.

Currently, there are rare ingredients like Thai prawns, a wide variety of sashimi, and especially eye-catching sweet shrimp. However, the dessert selection is a bit lacking and needs improvement.
