The tour starts off with a visit to the Kek Lok Si Temple where you can marvel at the 7 Tier Pagoda of the 10,000 Buddhas. In addition to this, you will see the 30.2 meter bronze statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. Ranjit - our driver / guide displayed high levels of hospitality. He showed us the Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang hill. He was very knowledgeable about the places and it’s history. The program was well structured and we were able to cover the places leisurely. We look forward to more trips with Klook. Thanks
Nice Experience. Our guide Mr. Teh was very knowledgeable about Penang City and Chinese Temple history. He explained us very well about Chinese Mythology of temple.
These places are one for the books. we enjoyed our tour and it was quite fun. our tour guide Shawn gave a lot of insights and was even kind enough to give us a sugar cane juice to quench our thirsts. this place is a gem. a lot of spots are good for Instagram pics. I'm definitely coming back again with my friends and family.
I'm so grateful for Josh's thoughtful arrangements. First, we went to Kek Lok Si Temple to see all kinds of Buddhist and Taoist deities made of bronze, stone, and wood carvings. He also explained the characteristics of the fusion pagoda in detail. Afterward, he took us to the side of Penang Hill to enjoy the breeze while introducing Penang's geography and the latest developments. The best part was that he introduced us to the super authentic and delicious Assam Laksa and the dessert Cendol. 100 out of 100! 💯
Mr. Ong did an excellent job in making our short trip worth every penny. we communicated ahead that we will be visiting the Habitat, and he agreed. The fast lane ticket made our entire Penang Hill trip smooth. He made special arrangment to drop us by a nearby food hub. Mr. Ong is easy to go with, not arrogant nor hot headed. He us very patient and a very good driver. For a private tour of 3, it was surely a trip to remember.
Mr Ong is knowledgeable and polite, also a safe driver. we enjoyed our tip to the temple, it’s good that he can drive us all the way to the top (don’t need walk up). Penang Hill cable care express lane is a bonus. The lines are very long but luckily we don’t need to wait. The restaurant David Brown is very tasty.
We really enjoyed our 4-hr private tour with guide and driver Anson, who was very attentive and knowledgeable about the points of interests and accommodating of our needs. He told us lores about the diverse religions of Penang and was passionate about the city’s history and wildlife. Highly recommend the express lane ticket for Penang Hill furnicular (included in this package) as the regular line was insanely long even for a Monday (30/12). Note: the ticket for inclined lift at Kek Lok Si is to see the bronze Guan Yin, not for the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda. Only stairs available for the seven-storey pagoda.
great morning out and we beat the crowd with quick access tickets on the funicular. Penang hill is a must visit with the highlight of the visit being the Habitat nature reserve with its canopy walks, knowledgeable rangers and wildlife. Recommend going early in the morning to beat the crowds and for a cooler experience as it gets quite hot towards midday. our guide Ranjit offered friendly and no fuss door to door pick up and is super knowledgeable. would highly recommend this tour.
Everything is good. Since it's a peak season, the price is too high but you were able to enjoy a vip access. So skipping the 2 hour line is a yes for me. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and accomodating and even drop us in a good restaurant after the tour.
The trip is very smooth and enjoyable! Thanks to Mr Ong, our guide, who is punctual and experienced. It's very important that this trip includes the express lane tickets for the Penang Hill train ride. You'll save up a lot of time for a long queue! The trip also flexible in terms of time spent in each attraction. In the end I've extra time to spend at the Penang Habitat which is really worth visiting!
