Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition | Exhibition Introduction

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" is adapted from Gege Akutami's original manga "Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School," a prequel to "Jujutsu Kaisen." Back in 2022, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" was released in Taiwan, grossing NT$230 million and establishing the "Jujutsu Kaisen" series as an unshakeable hit with Taiwanese fans. "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" tells the story of childhood sweethearts Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto, who promise to marry when they grow up. Unfortunately, Rika Orimoto dies in a car accident and transforms into a Special Grade Vengeful Cursed Spirit, clinging to Yuta Okkotsu. The strong-willed, kind-hearted Yuta Okkotsu vows to defend this love, eventually succeeding in dispelling Rika Orimoto's curse and uttering the iconic line, "We're in love!" This tragic yet passionate story deeply moved fans and successfully sparked a "pure love" trend in Taiwan.

The wildly popular anime series "Jujutsu Kaisen," which has swept across Asia, has quickly attracted a large following with its unique worldview and distinctive character designs. Following the manga's sales of over 100 million copies, the anime's sweep of major awards, and the box office success of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie," it is now sweeping across Asia once more with an immersive exhibition! Officially authorized by Japan, the "Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" has been touring major cities in Japan and Korea since its debut in Tokyo in 2022, attracting a large number of fans wherever it goes. This December, this cursed energy is about to descend upon Taiwan. The "Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" will grandly open at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park Multi-Function Hall in Taipei, fully recreating the passionate scenes and character charm of the film. Fans will be able to experience a world full of cursed energy, admire precious behind-the-scenes creative materials from the film up close, view a 1:1 model of the "Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer" Satoru Gojo, and see faithfully reproduced displays of various cursed tools. What's more, the exhibition will also feature highlights from the first and second seasons of the anime, the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc, and will also feature renowned Japanese ink painter Kojo Masayuki, who will reinterpret the characters' personas with his unique ink techniques, bringing a visual experience that is completely different from the anime and manga. Fans should definitely not miss it.

This exhibition also features renowned Japanese ink painter Kojo Masayuki, who has created powerful commemorative character portraits exclusively for the exhibition, cleverly blending the traditional ink painting style with the mysterious world of Jujutsu. Kojo Masayuki has created many masterpieces in the past, such as limited-edition warrior paintings for the "Star Wars" and "Marvel" series, and his works have received international acclaim. This time, he will reinterpret the characters from "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" in his signature "warrior painting" style, using his unique insights into "warriors" to flexibly apply various shades of ink and bold, fluid lines, injecting a sense of dynamism and momentum into the works. He not only recreates the mystery of the Jujutsu world, but also brings the characters' spirit and spirituality to life on paper, delivering a completely new visual experience in a different way.
