London to Windsor to Stonehenge to Oxford to London If you have a short stay in the UK, this route will take you to three of the most representative elements: royalty, cultural heritage, and top universities, allowing you to have a fulfilling journey without regrets.
| Windsor Britain’s most famous royal town, also known as “Royal Borough,” is located in the suburbs of London and is known worldwide for the existence of Windsor Castle and Eton College. Many places in the town still retain the medieval British style. If time permits, visitors can visit Windsor Castle on their own or leisurely stroll through the town and enjoy traditional British afternoon tea.
| Stonehenge Located on Salisbury Plain, it is one of the most popular attractions in the UK and one of the most mysterious ancient monuments in the world. It took a full 1,000 years to build Stonehenge. People from all over the world gaze at these Neolithic stone pillars, marveling at how they were put in place and why they were arranged that way. It might be recognizable at first glance, but it contains a depth far beyond what the first glance can perceive. To this day, 20,000 people visit Stonehenge every year on the summer solstice, the day the sun reaches its highest point, and people gather at Stonehenge to celebrate the longest day of sunshine of the year!
| Oxford The town is quaint and tranquil, yet permeated with a strong academic atmosphere. Oxford University can be said to be the main reason for people to visit this city. This world-renowned institution has nurtured many outstanding talents for the world over the past 800 years. In addition, it is also the origin of the fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland.” Although Oxford town is not large, it is equally wonderful. In this city, visitors can walk along many colleges and experience the academic and cultural atmosphere.
- St. George's Chapel inside Windsor Castle is not open to visitors on Sundays.
