Mirissa Whale Watching Luxury Super Grade Cruise Tour with Pickup

Booked this tour through Klook. Only pick-up was included. Unfortunately we did not see any whale, only dolphins. Some people saw turtles. There's a lot of luck involved. But there was food and water provided as mentioned.

There are basic problems in the tour. They told us that the boats have 120 capacity and are filled around 50%. It was fileld to the brim and then extra. They told us that big boat has less sea sickness. Well 50% of the people showed sea sickness with children vomiting. The tour is not enjoyable. We did see 20% of the Fin whale which is the best possible, We saw some flying fishes and some saw turtles. But that was it. Not worth to waste a whole day even in a 10 day trip. Definitely will never go again. The tours have to be planned better. The service was great. The hospitality was excellent like Srilanka is known for. The food was ok. Drinks are not included other than water. nothing much to talk about after you are back. Pretty forgettable. I remember the whale shark excursion in Maldives were much better and we were able to swim/snorkle with the whale shark.

The description mentions complimentary pick-up, but it doesn't specify that there's an extra charge for the return trip.
