dress collections are really good . they do have additional charges for hair styling and makeup .. the photographer suggest how to pose for nice pics ..
The photographer Clarence is super. Do note that hairstyling and makeup will be charged separately. $35 for each (i.e. $35 for makeup and another $35 for hairstyling).
I like how the photos are beautifully taken! decided to do my own make up and hair :) really love peranakan good and now had a taste of the culture 💖
The staff really helpful, I booked for myself and add in another booking for my bf, also additional for make up and hairdo it makes your look nicer. The cameraman also super helpful, teach us how to pose nicely 😊
I had an amazing experience during my Peranakan-themed photo shoot. The photographer was highly professional and gave confident, easy-to-follow guidance on posing and positioning, helping me look my absolute best in every shot. The wardrobe was impressive, with a wide selection of authentic sarong kebayas, gentlemen’s batik shirts, elegant jewellery, and stylish hair accessories that really elevated the whole look. The locations were fantastic — indoor shots at the stunning Peranakan Museum and outdoor photos along the iconic, colourful Peranakan shophouses on Koon Seng Road. Both settings added so much character and charm to the photos. I received over 30 beautifully curated soft-copy photos, each one polished and full of detail. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful and eye-catching photo shoot. Thank You!
experience: It was a fun day where i enjoyed it very much. Got my 1st try on Peranakan Kebaya and listened to the brief introduction about Peranakan heritage. Photography service was excellent as well, where the result was up to my expectation, thanks to Clarence. location:I walked from Paya Lebar MRT station. I highly recommend you, regardless local or tourist to visit here and experience this yourself, be it solo, with family or friends. Note: Photos which i uploaded were selfie as photos from Professional were larger and exceeded the allowable size in Klook.
the staff are friendly and helpful (from selecting Kebaya & accessories, to dressing up, to teaching us pose & taking photographs) ... we had a lovely time with fond memories recorded ☺️
Such a lovely experience from start to finish 🤍 Everyone was super nice and welcoming, especially the photographer who guided me through the poses the whole time, perfect if you’ve never done a photoshoot before (because same 😅). The vibe was really warm and comfortable. I booked this via Klook using the Culture Pass, which was super convenient. One tip they don’t really mention: bring your own white camisole! They do provide one, but having your own is definitely more comfortable. Hair was $35 and makeup was $35, which honestly really reasonable, and even the makeup artist was so sweet. Haven’t received the photos yet, but based on the experience so far, I’m sure they’ll turn out great ✨ Definitely a must-try if you’re in Joo Chiat 📸🤍
Really fun experience to dress up in a kebaya (you get to choose your own outfit colours)! The ladies at the museum were helpful in matching the outfits, picking accessories and helping to put the whole outfit together. The professional photographer guided me on poses within the museum and outdoors. I was quite awkward but the photographer did a good job guiding me on expressions and the photos turn out very nicel! I did it alone and it was not daunting at all. I received 173 photos in the end, and I love how natural they look. Remember to do your own makeup and hair before the session as this is not covered, but the museum offers hair and makeup services for an additional charge outside of the $100 from the SG Culture Pass.
I did a family portrait. There were 6 of us. Make up and hair was done beautifully for the ladies. Clarence and team were professional and provided excellent service from helping us to pick our costumes, dressing us up, to the photography. Clarence was so patient in giving instructions on where to stand and tilting our heads etc. My family and I had so much fun.
