If you win a VIP lottery ticket for the first floor, you can watch the grading process of bluefin tuna up close. Otherwise, you will watch from the public viewing deck on the 2nd floor. Each participant will receive a personalized audio guide – your guide will decode live auction gestures in real-time. Even from upstairs, you will clearly hear knowledge about tuna and transaction details, experiencing the thrill of high-stakes seafood trading firsthand!

Tim was amazing. Wow! This experience is a must. I am a chef and this has been on my list for a long time. I would highly recommend Tim. he was knowledgeable and attentive. our group size was small, about 10 people. We were given ear buds so we had no problem hearing. it felt like Tim was able to get us the best viewing spots and in front of the lines. if this is something you want to experience then Tim is your guide.
Tim is a professional and knowledgeable. His explanation was clear throughout the whole Tuna Auction process. Prior to the trip, he reminded us to dress warmly and this was a good personal touch to the guests. Our tour guide, Nick, was excellent! His explanations were clear and engaging, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all our questions. We had a wonderful time chatting with him. The activity ended at 9:10 PM, and Nick remained energetic until the very last moment, which was truly impressive. I'd also like to specifically recommend the breakfast. I usually don't prefer cold food in the morning, but the fresh donburi was absolutely delicious. It completely washed away any fatigue from the morning's activities! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

- Provide your WhatsApp number.
- Tuna auction times are fixed; market operations may vary.
- The menu is adjusted based on daily ingredient availability and restaurant operating hours.
- Wear comfortable shoes for extended walking.
- Some food tastings have age restrictions; please inquire in advance.
- Small group tour, moderate walking sections.
- Vegetarian, halal, or gluten-free diets cannot be accommodated.
- Photography and loud noises are prohibited.
- The day trip does not include personal travel/accident insurance; please purchase if needed.
- Please wear light/warm clothing (it may be cold in the morning).
- The on-site guide determines the specific arrangements daily.
- Lottery participation: Apply before the 5th of the previous month.
- Only selected participants have access to the first floor; unselected participants can view from the second floor.
Non-Operating Periods Auctions are not held on Wednesdays, Sundays, and Japanese public holidays (please check the market website for details).

Tuna Auction Viewing Lottery This is an optional service. To be eligible to participate in the first-floor lottery, please complete your itinerary booking before the 5th of the previous month. Lottery service is not available in December. All visitors will view from the public observation deck on the 2nd floor, with a personalized audio guide provided to ensure high-quality commentary. Note: We can assist you in participating in the VIP close-up viewing lottery for the tuna auction (the lottery is random, and spots are limited; 100% selection cannot be guaranteed).
On the Day of the Visit If you win the opportunity to view from the first floor, please bring your passport or identification document. Regardless of the lottery results, each participant will receive a personalized audio guide to clearly access the guide’s commentary throughout the itinerary.
