Reviews
First time trying this workshop. We like it. A new experience for us. Instructor is patient and nice to guide us through. We had fun. Practice on the paper before making the artwork on the tote bag. Choose dark coloured pictures for better effect.
It was a pleasant experience overall! The instructors explained the steps clearly and also shared some history behind the cyanotype material. There is a courtyard that we were allowed to pick flowers from to make prints of, and I was shown how to do "double exposure" by using the chemicals twice on the same paper. It was not so sunny so UV lights were used instead, but still interesting. The selection of pictures on plastic films is unique with some drawings participants can make and share. Their cat Lolo is friendly and made the studio feel cosy. Thanks for the great time!
It was fun to get creative for the day. ArterlyObsessed did a great workshop. Plus, I get to pat LoLo :)
had a great time with michelle, our instructor who guided us on the process of cyanotype and explained the art of it! enjoyed having the opportunity to experiment with designs and even made some resin buttons!
Great learning experience especially for people who want to try printmaking of any kind, I did cyanotype! It is kid-friendly, and there was a special guest too hehe. The instructors are friendly and the one in charge of the cyanotype workshop gave me useful tips and tricks!
It was my first art date with my bf, and this is a very fun activity to do! Staffs were really friendly & helped us alot too. I went on Tues night, and the cyanotype only had us 2 with 2/3 more members doing other art crafts (Not crowded, I love it!). Our art turned out really well💓PS. the workshop provides stencils for us to use, but if you want smtg more personalised... better prepare an art work/ reference you can use. They gave us time to go for plant hunt as well to use it for our work!
good introductory session to cyanotype printing. we had the opportunity to mix the chemicals (solutions A and B), forage for leaves, and we're guided through making our own cyanotype prints on the tote bag and paper.
The facilitators are passionate and friendly. They give helpful tips and at times comforting but I suppose everyone has their own artistic opinion. Had much fun!
Had so much fun creating our own cyanotype prints today! The instructors were really patient and we learned a lot.
it was our first time trying cyanotype printing! Keith made it easy to understand and encouraged us to experiment with the various available mediums. he was friendly and the studio ambience was comfortable. would recommend!
