What to expect
Visit one of the spectacular caves on Java Island when you join this exhilarating day tour! Located in the southeastern side of Yogyakarta, Jomblang Cave is one of the popular destinations outside the city. Experts believe that the cave was formed when a 50-meter wide ground collapsed along with its vegetation a thousand years ago. As a result, this sinkhole became a sanctuary for a variety of ancient plant species and insects. Before descending 60 to 80 meters down the cave, you will be given a short safety briefing and equipment by the professional instructor on site. Make sure to witness the breathtaking pillars of light or "glow of heaven" while exploring the cave. After that, you will visit the untouched beauty of Timang Beach. Explore the rock formations or walk down the pristine white beach while enjoying an uninterrupted view of the ocean. You will also make a short visit to the lobster-hunting community of Panjang Island where you can have an exciting wooden cable car ride. Enjoy a convenient and comfortable pick up and drop off service from your hotel within Yogyakarta City.

Ali, the driver was extremely helpful to drive me around and even dropped by some souvenir shops on the way back! The tour at Jomblang cave and Timang beach was amazing too! The crew was putting so much effort to ensure our safety and also maintain the area very well!
I love the whole experience! Timang Beach is very beautiful. The gondola ride was scary at first but a lot if fun when you get the hang of it while the Jomblang Cave is tiring but the hike is all worth it! The locals are very friendly and experts in taking pictures. Special thanks to our tour guide, Nicko Wijaya, for being so friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the tour. He's always smiling and a great English speaker too!

Highly recommended & thanks Aris!!!!
This has to be one of the most memorable experience I had in Jogjakarta. I typically went to Jogja only for Malioboro and culinary. This one time I took along my daughter and I wanted her to experience something adventurous. I wanted Jomblang cave and meanwhile she wanted the Timang Beach. It was the best decision I’ve made this year! First, The driver, Mas Bowo was very helpful. He was always in time and patience during the trip. He drove very carefully and even he ensured to have my preferred songs during the road trip so I wouldn’t get bored. He also knew Jogja pretty well, so whatever requirement or questions I had, he always gave me good suggestions. Once I (stupidly) left my phone at the back of the car yet he ensured to keep it safe and charged it fully when we met for the 2nd day. ( I booked for another package) Since he was very helpful thus I asked the travel agent specifically Mas Bowo for my second day trip. For trip itself 1. Jomblang cave Everything was well planned and structured. The guides were super helpful. Plus they’re really great photographer and videographer. First, they provided us with boots and all the safety equipments like body harness. When we to dive down 60m My daughter was scared but relieved at the same time. All the equipment looked pretty well maintained. The Jomblang cave itself was mesmerizing. It was muddy but not smelly like typical cave with bats. My daughter loved playing Mud with her boots. I would suggest you to bring your own headlamp or something like that cus it’s pretty dark but once u arrived the destination you can see pretty well. The view was breathtaking. After the trip they provided us with Javanese style wrapped food. It’s delicious! And you also can pick pictures that they took while you went down. Typically they would have 2-3 pictures. Each cost you Rp20.000 2. Timang Beach This beach was not a typical beach. The waves were Super Strong. To go to Timang Beach you’d take 30 minutes offroad with small jeep. The driver also was nice. He brought my bag and kept it with him safely while I spend my time at Watu Panjang. He took video of me crossing the Gondola while the wave hit me hard lol. It was the best experience I ever have. The water was so cold, I instantly shivered. By the time you arrived at Watu Panjang/Timang. There will be people who would help you to get pictures with the best angles. For free of course, but a lil tip would make them happy. But if I may honest, as a domestic tourist this package is pretty expensive. But since I have the best experience with my daughter hence I would say it’s worth every penny.
The experience has been my favourite in Yogyakarta, it is definitely an adventure of the lifetime. Everything went on quite smoothly and I would like to highly recommend my driver Nick who has been nice and helpful the whole day - he even took me to see the sunset and a luwak coffee!
Jomblang cave is a must do activity in jogja! When u see the beauty inside the cave it was amazing. Timang beach is also just beautiful. Had a great time overall. Be careful of tourist traps when they try to upsell u things like offering to stop at souvenirs shops or coffee luwak shop or restaurants. But just decline nicely if u don’t want they are ok. Not too pushy. Overall it was worth it!
Fun riding the gondola and the sea water might splash very high and hit the gondola. There are people on the tiny island helping to take photo. It’s good to tips them for helping and guiding us the best position to take the photo. Jomblang cave was also very good. The guide told us to get there early so that we can be in the first group. You get to see people manually pulling you up the cave.
