【Itinerary Reference】
Day 1: Gather and depart from the vicinity of Lijiang Ancient Town to the Eighteen Bends Mountain Road viewing platform to the Thirteen Peaks viewing platform to Ninglang County’s specialty firewood chicken to the Lugu Lake panoramic viewing platform to Caohai (Grass Sea) and Walking Marriage Bridge to Dazhu Lover’s Beach (depending on the situation) to pig trough boat tour of the lake and island hopping to dinner to bonfire party to check into a Lugu Lake view guesthouse.
Day 2: Voluntarily wake up early to watch the sunrise by the lake to hotel breakfast to hiking on Lige Peninsula to Yunnan Lover’s Beach to lunch to disband in Lijiang.

Overall, the tour was very comprehensive. We saw impressive places, were able to appreciate the rich culture of the Lugu Lake inhabitants, and participated in the dances and songs of the Mosuo people. We were given several varied and typical meals from the area, all very delicious. The only downside was the hotel. The room was fine, but the bathroom, being a wet toilet, was like a swimming pool after showering and didn't dry, so the room had a bad smell of humidity and pipes. However, they upgraded us and gave us a room with views of Lugu Lake. It was a good experience, we definitely recommend it.
The itinerary was perfect, we visited many beautiful places and had ample time to explore. Staff is friendly and very responsive too. The room had a beautiful view and is very spacious, only downside was the water pressure was very low, making it hard to flush. The highlight of this trip was definitely the pig trough boat on day 1 and the cable car on day 2. The dinner on day 1 was extremely bad though, no one finished the dinner. But the other meals were acceptable. Overall, we still had a great time and would recommend anyone to join.
The 2D1N trip that included all meals, but the food was terrible — even locals on the trip were dissatisfied, and we’re sure better options exist nearby. We booked the luxury lake view room; while the view was supposed to be great, the weather was poor and we couldn’t enjoy it fully. Worse, the room itself had issues: the water heater didn’t work, and the kettle was disgusting with hardened residue inside and at the pourer tip. The trip doesn’t include a guide, only a driver, which was fine since we could rest during the ride and there was no hard-selling. Unfortunately, the combination of lousy meals, poor room conditions, and bad weather overshadowed the positives. Despite the concept of a relaxing lake view getaway, I cannot recommend this trip.
