- Stone Forest is located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Kunming, Yunnan. It features extensive karst landforms with various stone pillar shapes, earning it the reputation of "the First Wonder of the World" and making it a World Natural Heritage site and Geopark.
- Erhai Lake is located in Dali, Yunnan. It is a plateau freshwater lake shaped like a human ear. The lake and mountain scenery are breathtaking, and "Erhai Moon" is famous, with abundant surrounding attractions.
- Dali Ancient City is situated between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It was the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom, with a history of over 1200 years. Most buildings in the city are of Bai ethnic style, with gray bricks and green tiles, simple and elegant. It has attractions such as the ancient city wall and Foreigner Street. Strolling through it, you can experience the rich ethnic customs and profound historical and cultural heritage.
- Lijiang Ancient City is a World Cultural Heritage site with a history of eight hundred years. Inside the ancient city, small bridges and flowing water, Sifang Street is bustling, and ancient Naxi buildings are scattered in an orderly fashion.

It consists of 13 snow peaks, with the main peak, Shanzidou, at an altitude of 5596 meters, named for its resemblance to a "giant dragon." It boasts rich landscapes such as glaciers, meadows, and forests, and is also a sacred mountain for the Naxi people. In 2024, it was selected as one of the "first batch of World Famous Tourist Mountains."

Reviews
Really recommended for our first time to China, agent sally so helpful, we have some changes, the arrangements were settled perfectly, accomodation okay and transport also good, tour guide also nice and friendly
Even as I can't speak nor understand Chinese, I was able to enjoy the tour with helps from other fellow group members and tour guides. Meals were basic but fair for the price paid. Hotels had some good ones and below expectations. Buses were some good and some had weak aircons. Overall, O really enjoyed it and would book again.
I was originally hesitant about whether to go all-in or join a tour group? After planning a few days of self-guided tours, I found that I really didn't have that much time, so I decided to join this Klook tour group at the last minute before departure. Fortunately, I followed the right group, which saved me a lot of time, transportation, and luggage handling, and also saved a lot of money! The bus arrangement in the itinerary is a three-row bus, which is comfortable to sit in! The professional tour guide has increased our knowledge and understanding of Yunnan! Once again, I would like to thank the tour guide Qiu Ye for leading the group. Her professionalism and dedication have won the trust of all our group members, and the group members have praised her; because of her rich experience in leading groups and her identity as a Yunnan Yi, she can always tell fascinating stories! Every time she arrives at a scenic spot, she can also catch the best photo spots to help us leave beautiful shadows! A good group must have excellent tour guides to add points! I look forward to meeting such an excellent guide Qiu next time!
.The Yunnan travel package was fairly satisfactory, though the itinerary was only moderately organized. Destinations were interesting, and the tour guide was friendly, though not able to speak English; even basic English would help international travelers. Free tickets to Spruce Meadow were provided, while visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain required exchanging tickets with an extra fee. This was not managed early, preventing me from reaching the top. Meals were free but no halal options were available. As a Muslim traveler, I understand, but improvements would allow Muslim travelers to participate more comfortably. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but better ticket management, halal meal options, itinerary planning, and basic English skills for guides would make the package more traveler-friendly.
Highly recommended tour for its affordability, very good food provided. All hotels provided were good except for one night. Tour guides unfortunately few days change once, not the best arrangement but still decent. Some tour guides are really nice! This tour handled by china travel 环球国旅, they are so responsive, very courteous and flexible! When I have a problem, they handle it quickly and provided me with the best service! I will recommend them and will engage their service to travel with them again next time!
Itinerary: Too much time is spent at tourist traps designed to rip off visitors, leaving less time for genuinely valuable and worthwhile attractions. Accommodation: Facilities are adequate, but the location is remote and inconvenient. Tour Guide: The tour guide uses storytelling as a guise to promote local products at exorbitant prices. Transportation: Multiple bus transfers are required, and the last-minute coordination and communication are very poor. Attractions: Highly recommend traveling independently. Independent travel is not only cheaper, allowing you to visit more and better places at your own pace, but also reduces the risk of being scammed. Some listed attractions should be avoided, especially the "Shangbala Tibetan Culture Museum," which claims to be a religious site but is just a place to sell overpriced "amulets" or "lucky charms." Furthermore, some listed attractions are not visited at all. For example, Lashi Lake. The tour guide will discourage you from going, claiming "not enough time" or that it's a "waste of money." In that case, these attractions shouldn't be listed in the first place.
itinerary: Too much time spent on scammy tourist traps that are out to grab your money, resulting in shorter time spent on actual and better attractions accomodation options: reasonable amenities, but locations are out of place tour guide: Tour guides will tell you stories in the guise of trying to upsell you on local goods at exorbitant price transport options: multiple transfer of buses with poor last minute coordination and communication attractions: really advise you to just go free and easy. you can go to more and better places at your own pace and at a cheaper rate without getting conned. some of the places listed are must avoid, especially the shambhala tibetan culture museum. claims to be a religious site, but really just out to sell you expensive charms to 'protect/bless' you. did not even go to some of the listed location specifically Lasihai, as the tour guide will advise you that there isn't enough time or it is a waste of money. might as well just not list it there
The agent assigned to handle our booking, Sally, was not thorough and did not do a good job. She was slow in response and at times, didn’t even reply to my enquires. we asked for 2 of my family members to take the meadow ropeway and 3 members to take the glacier ropeway, yet ended up, she didn’t book any of us for the glacier ropeway, which was a very big disappointment after we got to find out about it one day before going to the jade dragon mountain, but it was already too late to buy the tickets for the popular glacier ropeway. she explained that it was a miscommunication, but we don’t think so. the other thing we didn’t like about this trip was there are no less than 4 tour guides involved and we were passed from one guide to the next at different stages of the trip. hence, it was disruptive.
The itinerary was great and the tour guide was professional and awesome!
The itinerary is full and full, and the price is affordable. Tour guide Wang led the group and explained clearly. The hotel is not bad, and the group meal is not bad, and it is above average. Next time, you can consider the itinerary of this travel agency, which is cheap and large.
Good to know
- Yunnan is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with a large daily temperature difference (12-15 degrees Celsius). Please check the local weather conditions before your trip, pay attention to your attire, check the local weather forecast, bring enough warm clothing, as Yunnan has strong sunshine and ultraviolet rays. For prolonged outdoor activities, please wear a sun hat, sunglasses, and apply sunscreen to protect your skin. The weather changes frequently, so please bring rain gear.
- Yunnan has high mountains and steep slopes, with strict speed limits. The itinerary areas are at high altitudes with low oxygen content, so the tourist bus speed may sometimes be only 20-30 yards when going uphill. We ask for your understanding.
- Yunnan is a minority ethnic region, so please respect the religious and living customs of the local ethnic minorities.
- The economic development in Yunnan is relatively backward. Hotels of the same star rating have facilities and scale that lag behind those in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Some newly built hotels with better facilities are generally located on the outskirts of the city, about 15-20 minutes' drive from the city center (unless there are special circumstances). Due to the unique climate of Yunnan, hotel air conditioning is only turned on for a limited time or not at all during winter. If you need extra quilts, electric blankets, etc., please ask the hotel staff.
- Lijiang is at a high altitude, so please pay attention to rest to prevent altitude sickness. People with heart disease, high blood pressure, and other conditions should be cautious. Please prepare some commonly used personal medicines for emergencies.
- Yunnan is a multi-ethnic province, with a local cuisine that is mainly sour and spicy, and many cold dishes. Group meals for tourists are generally served at tables of 10 people. Yunnan's diet is quite different from other provinces and may not suit your taste, so please be mentally prepared. The local soil and water are slightly acidic, so it is recommended to drink more tea. When traveling, visitors must carry valid identification documents. People under 16 years old need to carry their original household registration book or valid household registration certificate, and infants need to carry their birth certificate.
- When purchasing tourist souvenirs and local specialties, please be careful not to casually touch the displayed samples to prevent accidental damage. Merchants in the ancient city sometimes sell fake goods, so please be careful when making purchases.
- Travel essentials: raincoat or umbrella, sports shoes, cold medicine, stomach medicine, insect repellent ointment, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, etc. (Lijiang has a large temperature difference between morning and evening, so please bring slightly thicker clothes, such as sweaters, long-sleeved shirts, light and warm jackets, and wear travel shoes.)
