Great event at a convenient location. My first Fado experience and I am really impressed with the two Fado singers and the two Fado guitarists. The theater is small enough so that you can have a very close view of the performance. well worth the time and money.
The explanations about the history and culture of Fado between the songs kept me interested and entertained until the end! There was an explanation that "Fado is something that sings with feelings as if spelling out poetry," and the performance truly conveyed those feelings 👏. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto!
Fado with a glass of wine~ The price was reasonable, and the guide recommended it, so I made a last-minute reservation the day before, and it was still great! It was a unique experience for an hour. The comfortable atmosphere where you could enjoy together and the video commentary in between were also good. The owner was also friendly, and it was a fun time 👍
It was a Fado show (Coimbra style) featuring both female and male performers. I was pleased to hear the pleasant and unique tones and wonderful singing voices. I was able to enter by presenting my voucher. Also, before the show started, I enjoyed a glass of port wine while listening to the performance.
When in Portugal, you have to see Fado. You can feel a different passion from Spain.
The singers' skills seemed a bit lacking. The guitarist's performance was excellent.
Although we couldn't communicate in the language, it was a moving performance. I think it was even better because it was a small theater.
The female Fado singer was excellent and sang beautifully, but the male singer's vocal skills were at an amateur level.
