I was drawn in by the good reviews and made a reservation. The location is very easy to find once you know where it is, but I couldn't find it at first. It's along the main street where nyunyu and the Savoy Hotel are located. I discovered their Instagram after returning home. I've included a screenshot from their video. The black-clothed man entering is right at the salon entrance. I love massages and often get them when I travel. Among all the massages I've had, this one was truly the best, as they relieved my tension so accurately! The only thing I found disappointing was that the face cradle on the massage bed didn't quite line up with my face when I was lying face down. The massage itself felt amazing, but my face hurt, so I couldn't fully relax. However, I think this varies from person to person, so it shouldn't be a problem for people who don't usually experience face pain when lying face down. Even with that drawback, it was a salon I would want to visit again.
The technician is very attentive, and each massage is just right, leaving my whole body relaxed, making it a must-choose after an overnight flight. The location in Myeongdong is quite difficult to find; take the stairs up between the two shops.
I had excessive tension in my shoulders from work, and after being asked downstairs how strong I wanted my massage, I was able to go upstairs and change. I opted for a strong massage, which meant the focus was more on my shoulders. She definitely 'kneaded away' my pain points effectively, so much so that there are hardly any left after just one massage. I will definitely go again.
This is my first to do massage in Korea. I must say I am impressive with their massage with every press hitting the pressure points and muscle group, relieving tightened muscles. They provide massage with different strength from medium to very hard. The shop owner is also very well versed with English and Japanese, no issue communicating. Something to improve is probably their shop aesthetics and add light scent to improve the ambiences. Overall I am very satisfied with their service, will go again if there is opportunity.
it was easy to find the place as we went there by k ride (Korean version of Uber). The staffs welcomed us very friendly and said they were busy all day long. So they started our sessions early as we arrived early about 10-15 min. I took my mom who was having a pain around her lower back & glutes and she loved it. Both my mom’s and my legs were very tired after walking around the town almost all day for one and a half days, so the massage felt so good. We did the whole body & scalp and it was very nice & relaxing. The staff asked a few times during the session if the pressure was ok and that was nice. They spoke a little bit of Japanese and English as well. Will definitely go back.
The technician was very thorough and applied good pressure; if it's too much, you can ask for a lighter touch. The environment was also clean, and the session time was sufficient. I will definitely go again next time.
Massage therapist: Hangwa (I think that's her name) was attentive, she really did what she could for me, she even put oil on me to better penetrate the massage, and cleaned it herself, and it even went over the scheduled time and she saw tense areas that I myself didn't know about, like my hand. Service: really good, I came early and even though I said I could wait, they took me early, then afterwards she made me tea, I asked for advice, we discussed. For the price (€65) it was really fair, the whole body...
Massage was wonderful - remedial not relaxing - and the best thing after a long flight. the massage therapists speak a little English; enough to discuss pressure and focus points. They were very friendly and kind. Location was excellent and easy to find. One flight of stairs to the reception room and another to the massage room. I highly recommend.
Amazing!! I booked for myself and my boyfriend, we had the 100 mins full body massage. Just what we needed to relieve the tension from sleeping of different beds on our travels. Amazed by the strength of the masseuses, they applied great pressure and you could tell how skilled they were, we came out feeling brand new! My lady noticed I was so tense and change to an oil massage to really relieve the muscle. Couldn't recommend this place enough!
I booked massages for myself and my parents who were visiting Korea. The staff was very kind and accommodating to us and they did their best to take care of all of our needs. The massage therapists continuously checked if the pressure was okay during the massage and made sure to target the areas that I mentioned were my tight areas. My dad said it was the best foot massage he has ever had in his life and my mom said that it felt like her massage therapist helped correct some pain she had been having after a fall a few weeks back. The shop is small but comfortable and clean. It was a little hard to find it though because the sign is really small outside and wasn’t in English (or maybe I just missed it) and be careful on the stairs going up and down because they’re steep! But overall it was a great experience and I’ll be bringing more family members who visit back to get massages here!
