Reviews summaryMake sure to bring a hat and sunscreen. The show I watched was sold out so the seating was very tight. it got a hit uncomfortable because i could not stretch my legs for over an hour. The experience, however, was well worth it.
We had a great experience at Uluwatu Temple and the Kecak Fire Dance. Our guide, Made, was very friendly and helpful. He even lined up for our tickets while we explored the temple, which made everything more convenient for us. He also shared stories about his life and Bali, and he could communicate well in English. The sunset view was beautiful, and the Kecak Dance was a unique experience. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable tour. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended! Having a guide made our Bali trip convenient. He assisted us with everything—from transportation and buying entrance tickets to taking photos throughout the day. Our driver contacted us via WhatsApp a day before & arrived on time. Despite Bali's heavy traffic, we were able to maximize our itinerary. Since many of the roads are quite narrow, having a local driver made getting around much easier and stress-free. All entrance fees were included in the package. At Tanah Barak Cliff, we parked the car and took the shuttle service to the viewpoint. Melasti Beach was beautiful. Although we only had about an hour there, it was definitely worth the visit. Our driver also recommended stopping for a coffee tasting. We then visited Uluwatu Temple and watched the Kecak Fire Dance at sunset. To end the day, we had dinner at Jimbaran Beach. Overall, this tour offered excellent value for money. The itinerary was well-planned, the driver was friendly and accommodating.
The fire dance was a sight to behold, especially with the sunset behind. We were booked on the first show at 6pm which was better than the 7pm one as it was still bright when the show started. Oka was my guide and driver and he made sure we were well taken care of, including protecting us from the monkeys!
Our driver, Ngurah Aryadi is very warm, friendly and professional. He is very patient with the traffic and he also dropped us of in a good restaurant to have our dinner before our scheduled flight going back home because he understood what our friends are talking about :). He is also nice for accommodating one of our friend to buy shoe glue in the conveniece store because the sole of her sandal is worn off. This is one of the great tour we had. The cliff view is so great, the monkeys, their culture. Everything was great :) We're happy we got to experience this on our last day in Bali :)
I went for a solo Uluwatu Tour, the experience is absolutely beautiful. My tour guide, Mr Tutadi is very friendly and helpful throughout the tour. Very recommended for any solo traveler as he would make you feel safe all the time. 💯
Tutadi (Adi) was an excellent driver. He helped us by showing us the best spots for photos and guiding us to all the must-see places. He also led us to the very front row for the Kecak dance, which was a fantastic experience. Most importantly, he was a skilled driver, expertly navigating through traffic by taking side roads, which showed his considerable experience. Even when we were in a hurry, he kindly and patiently guided us to restrooms without any hesitation, waiting for us. We were fortunate to have such an enjoyable time throughout our trip. We would definitely request him again.
Our guide picked us up right on time! It always feels a bit strange to have a Japanese-speaking guide since I usually have English-speaking ones. And today, I was the only one on the tour (*☻-☻*) The roads were clear, and we even stopped at a shop where I could try civet coffee. It was my first time trying civet coffee 🐈 and wow, it was strong! Afterward, we went to Uluwatu Temple. Even though it was a weekday, the parking lot was full and crowded. I was told absolutely not to wear sunglasses because the monkeys would steal them, so I left them in the car. We got to see the sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. The guide worked hard to explain the temple to me. I was the only one watching the Kecak dance, but it was very close and powerful. However, waiting in the open-air venue at that time of day, the sunset was so hot that I was exhausted. Some people were still entering even after the scheduled time, and the stair seating was completely packed, probably at 150% capacity. The sunset and fire were incredibly beautiful, and I enjoyed the dance, which even involved the audience at one point. On the way back, there was a huge traffic jam (T ^ T). I was asked if I wanted to stop for dinner or a souvenir shop, and I chose the souvenir shop. The mountain roads in Bali made even me, who usually doesn't get carsick, feel a little nauseous, haha. I wasn't in the mood for food. I'm sorry. The souvenir shop we stopped at had prices more than half off what you'd pay in Ubud, which made me realize those were probably the original prices. It was so cheap I even checked the prices. It was truly so much fun. Thank you so much for looking out for me like a father, asking if I'd forgotten anything, and worrying about the monkeys! I really feel that Indonesian people are incredibly kind, and I didn't see anyone who seemed irritated. They were genuinely helpful when I was in trouble. In fact, the next day, they even personally arranged my transfer to the airport. I was a little worried if they would actually show up, but they arrived and waited even before the meeting time. I'm truly grateful 。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。 This was a trustworthy guide who I would definitely want to show me around again when I come back to Bali! My gratitude is boundless; I send my biggest thank you ❤︎
Our driver, Gede, was incredibly warm, friendly, and responsible, making our trip to Kecak Fire Dance, Pandawa, Melasti, and Tanah Barak Cliff truly wonderful! He is a very skillful driver who made us feel safe throughout the journey. We especially appreciated his thoughtfulness at Uluwatu, where he protected our belongings from the monkeys and reminded us of important details. He also proactively helped us take many amazing photos and handled every arrangement perfectly. We will definitely choose him again next time and highly recommend Gede to everyone!
I had an amazing experience with my tour guide Putra and couldn’t have asked for a better person to show me around. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting history and local insights that really brought each place to life. It never felt like a scripted tour—everything was engaging, personalized, and easy to follow. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond to make the experience special. He knew all the best spots for photos and took some truly great pictures for me, which made the trip even more memorable. He was patient, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable and enjoyed every moment.
