Excellent tour. I highly recommend with some caveats. would not rate Katla Caves as “easy” but moderate requiring mini-cramp ons up ice and lava rock. An older guest needed assistance and a jet lagged one almost slipped. Also our tour transport had three different final destinations on our original bus so a bit confusing (Katla, glacier hike, and 2 day excursion). Also a 4th group had to be taken by a different operator because we were otherwise returning at 9pm and this caused some tension with passengers. I highly recommend rain boots for Katla and falls as one gets quite wet. Also full waterproof head to toe regardless of summer or winter. I think the instructions said just for winter and we are here during the summer. Thank you for the stunning experience.
