[✨ Introduction to the Wonderful Scenic Spots of the Itinerary] 🌊 Qinghai Lake Known as “Tso Ngonpo” in Tibetan, meaning “Blue Sea”. As China’s largest inland saltwater lake, the lake surface is 3,196 meters above sea level and covers an area of 4,435 square kilometers, vast as the sea, with blue waves stretching for miles. It is a masterpiece of geological movement, formed by fault subsidence, and was once connected to the Yellow River.

🌄 Sun and Moon Mountain Anciently known as Chiling, named because “the soil and stones are all red”, it is the natural boundary between the agricultural and pastoral areas of Qinghai, and also the dividing line between the monsoon and non-monsoon areas. The average altitude is 4,000 meters. Since ancient times, it has been the throat through which the Central Plains leads to the Western Regions and Tibet. Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty passed through this pass on her way to Tibet. According to legend, the princess broke the Sun and Moon Treasure Mirror here, transforming it into two small mountains, the east reflecting the morning glow and the west connecting the setting sun.

🏔️ Laji Mountain Known as “Gongmao La” in Tibetan, meaning the place where stone chickens inhabit. It is a branch of the Qilian Mountains, spanning between the Huangshui River and the Yellow River, and is the geographical dividing line between the Loess Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The mountain peaks are mostly above 4,000 meters above sea level, and the highest peak, Yiniu Mountain, is 4,832 meters above sea level. The mountain is composed of red rock formations, and the Danxia landform complements the alpine meadows, with four seasons of weather visible in one day.

🪞 Chaka Salt Lake: Located in the eastern section of the Qaidam Basin, the lake surface is 3,100 meters above sea level. The brine lake with solid and liquid coexistence enjoys the reputation of "Sky Mirror". The crystalline salt layer at the bottom of the lake is as flat as a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. Walking through it is like a dream, and it is listed by National Geographic as one of the "55 places to go in a lifetime".
