Sigiriya & Dambulla Day Tour from Colombo, Kaluthara or Bentota Area

It was a memorable experience for me. My guide at Sigiriya Lion Rock - ASHAN is very good in taking photos and really knowledgable with the site. My driver and guide for Dumbulla - SHAN is very accommodating and funny. I really recommend this tour package for those planning to visit UNESCO sites here in SL. Kudos!

I've only ever written top reviews on Klook, but this is the first time I'm giving a review like this. It was that bad. I'm posting this so that other people don't have the same experience. As other reviews have mentioned, there are problems with the overall tour operation. They never announce what time we need to leave a location by in order to make it to the next one on time. So, I assumed I could take my time looking around, only to realize later that I was supposed to be rushing. This happened several times. The most unforgivable thing was that they gave me false information about the closing time of the Dambulla Cave Temple. They told me it closed an hour later than it actually did, so I went thinking I had plenty of time, but it was already closed when I arrived. Even then, they tried to emotionally manipulate me by saying things like, "I did my best for you, so it's not my fault," which I found very cowardly. On top of that, they made statements that weren't true, like, "You initially said you didn't want to go here, but then you changed your mind," trying to make it seem like it was my fault. I still regret choosing this tour, and it's upsetting that I spent a lot of money and time to come all the way to Sri Lanka, only to have this happen. It's so upsetting that it still brings me to tears.

This tour allow you to visit Dambulla temple and Sigirya in 1day from Colombo. its perfect tour for someone who have limited time in Sri Lanka. My driver, Raihan was very kind and friendly.

The itinerary was well-arranged, and we were lucky to be assigned a very nice driver who was patient and kind. It's just that my English isn't very good, so I couldn't communicate much. I recommend them.

It was a tough tour departing at 7:00 AM and arriving at 9:00 PM, but the round-trip transfers and the optional Japanese-speaking guide made it a stress-free experience.

The tour price is high compared to other Asian countries, possibly due to the long driving hours involved. On top of that, there are significant additional costs, including same-day tickets. Furthermore, I was charged more on the day of the tour than the amount quoted on WhatsApp (they mentioned exchange rates, but I'm unsure if that was accurate). Regarding optional activities, there are a few, but the Village Tour is honestly not worth it. The lunch was not tasty, and the hygiene conditions seemed questionable, making me worried about getting sick. Sigiriya Rock was crowded, and the path was steep, so having a guide made me feel more secure. The National Park tour was incredibly expensive, but it offered a valuable experience of seeing wild elephants, which I would recommend to nature lovers.
