Labuan Bajo Komodo National Park & Padar Island Full-Day Small Group Tour

This Komodo tour was absolutely perfect and exceeded all expectations! The dreamy pink beaches, crystal-clear waters, awe-inspiring Komodo dragons, and stunning mountaintop ocean views created an unparalleled visual feast. The itinerary was well-paced, and whenever we returned to the boat after visiting a site, the crew had already thoughtfully prepared chilled drinks, instantly washing away any fatigue. The onboard dining was also incredibly varied and delicious. This entire trip left us with countless wonderful memories, definitely deserving of a five-star rating! Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

We joined an open trip with a total of 14 people on board. Unfortunately, the seating was quite cramped and uncomfortable, which made the journey less enjoyable. The only snorkeling stop was at the Pink Beach, and even then, the guide didn’t really encourage or guide the group during the activity. As it was an open trip, there were other couples in the group who often delayed the schedule, which was a bit frustrating. The visit to Komodo Park was also underwhelming — we only saw two Komodo dragons, both just resting and posing for photos. To top it off, even though a hotel transfer was included, the guide told us to walk back to our hotel since it was “only” about 10–15 minutes away. After a full day under the sun, that walk (without clear directions) was really not what we expected. pick up from our hotel in the morning was also LATE ! Overall, the trip felt poorly managed and didn’t quite live up to what was promised.

The overall trip was very comfortable, and the boat was well-equipped. I'm so glad I got to see all the spots on this Komodo tour in one go. The tour guide even helped us take photos throughout the trip, which was fantastic! It's a great trip for friends, families, and couples. You don't have to worry about going hungry, as there are snacks after each activity, as well as breakfast and lunch provided.

there’s a room for improvement

There were only 12 seats on the boat, but they forced three extra foreigners on board. When we got on, all the seats were taken by local Indonesians. There was no explanation as to why there were so many extra people. There weren't enough seats at the table during meal times, which made it crowded and inconvenient. They had said in an email beforehand that there would be snorkeling, but there wasn't. The most outrageous thing was that they deliberately dropped us off last when we left. The tour guide clearly disliked Chinese people and gave all the explanations in Indonesian. We couldn't understand anything. At least speak in English, or just make it clear that you don't accept foreigners. Overall, a very unpleasant trip.
