This was a dream come true! The event organizers were amazing they had so much going on, they had performers they had local snacks, they had different crafts areas, a game of kick ball and more. This is a much smaller scale than the CAD one but the experience is just as magical! I would recommend coming later because the Lantern part itself doesn't start until 8pm I came at 2pm so it was a really long day for me. I'm grateful that I got to join in and be part of the festivities, but the day definitely dragged on. The staff were INCREDIBLE they were so kind, helpful and accomodating and everything was extremely well organized, even with the terrible weather, which I was very impressed by! This company is fantastic and I'm glad I got to experience the lantern festival with them for my first time!
Transportation was well organized, and there were plenty of activities and food to enjoy—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
overall a fun event! didn’t want to spend $100 more to go to the actual event. the food was very bland with little flavors so that could be improved and the line for food was insanely long. the organizers should be prepared for changes in weather such as set up coverings for all areas aside from the lantern releasing area so the ground would not be as muddy and dirty from the rain. we got what we wanted and was happy to experience it.
the place was small but the locals were really friendly and there were so many activities to watch. althought it rained and the place got muddy, they still pushed through with the event. i just hope other tourists would be more mindful of their behavior
I loved it great that I chose premium better ride and also buffet for dinner
having klook makes it easy for your to experience the fun and adventure that your looking for. everything is provided, so for first timer who wants to experience new activity you wont get lost, klook will provide the info. the only thing thats needed for is just to show up.
should’ve booked the CAD official lantern festival instead. to anyone thinking about booking this next year DONT DO IT. this is not the official lantern fest you see on tiktok or facebook. honestly felt like i got scammed lol. the whole thing was so disorganized. the ground was super muddy, it rained, and everything just felt messy. i booked the premium package but the food was barely anything — no rice, tiny servings, totally not worth the extra money. the only decent part was the van ride going there. the event itself took forever to start and was so boring. performances were meh, not impressive at all. so if you’re planning to go next year, just book through the official CAD lantern festival website. trust me, you’ll save yourself the disappointment. not worth it at all.
The experience of seeing the lanterns was amazing however the Premium service, only benifit was closer seatifn to the stage for the show. The "buffet dinner" was a cup of red curry with 1 peice of potato and a small chicken drumstick and a small side salad with 2 bits of lettuce. There was activities to watch and participate in but took no more than 1 hour to see it all and was around 5-6hours of waiting around. The event was held in a grass field that was muddy and slippery and smelt like cow droppings.
the food arrangement could have been more organized
What's up with the organizers? I waited in line for an hour and couldn't get food, which seriously impacted my experience of this event. I don't know who to complain to, but it's really terrible. No one here seems to want to solve the problem of not enough food. I never imagined this event would be so bad. Plus, I didn't find the driver you hired very friendly. As a foreigner, being asked to get out of the car in an unknown location was really bad. I think the planning for this event is terrible.
