Atomic Bomb Dome The Atomic Bomb Dome is the remains of the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall after Hiroshima was hit by an atomic bomb on August 6, 1945. Although located near the hypocenter, the building did not collapse, becoming a symbol of the atomic bomb disaster, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum Since its opening in 1955, the museum has been dedicated to conveying the tragic circumstances of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945, to the world and to making people understand the necessity of avoiding such tragedies. The museum displays precious materials such as relics of atomic bomb victims, photographs, models illustrating the disaster of the explosion, and video testimonies of atomic bomb victims.
Flame of Peace The Flame of Peace, located in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, was lit in 1964 to mourn the victims of the atomic bombing and to pray for the abolition of nuclear weapons and lasting world peace. It continues to burn to this day, in accordance with the vow “to keep the flame burning until nuclear weapons disappear.”
Children’s Peace Monument This statue was erected to mourn the children who died in the atomic bombing and to express a wish for peace. Modeled after Sadako Sasaki, who died of leukemia at the age of 2, it was built through nationwide donations and continues to attract many people who come to convey their plea for peace.
Miyajima—Itsukushima Shrine As one of Japan’s representative shrines, Itsukushima Shrine has a long history, said to have been founded in the first year of Empress Suiko’s reign (593). In the late Heian period, Taira no Kiyomori’s deep faith led to the establishment of its current shrine buildings. The most famous feature of Itsukushima Shrine is its shrine buildings constructed over the sea. When the tide rises, the entire shrine appears to float on the sea, a mysterious sight that attracts countless visitors.
Deer of Miyajima The entire island of Miyajima belongs to the precincts of Itsukushima Shrine, and the deer on the island are regarded as sacred animals and are highly valued. Approximately 500 deer roam freely on the island, and their gentle demeanor often makes visitors feel a sense of familiarity.
Kintaikyo Bridge Kintaikyo Bridge is listed as one of Japan’s three most famous bridges and is a five-arch wooden bridge. Its bridge piers are made of stone, while the bridge body is made of wood, giving it a unique structure. The bridge is also designated as a national scenic spot, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of all four seasons, with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.

Reviews
Nobu was amazing. We had my mom who was I a wheelchair and my kids and he was so patient with us. As soon as we got in he offered us WiFi and phone chargers- a good testament to Japanese hospitality. he was very knowledgeable about the Hiroshima peace museum and Miyajima. He had unberellas for us and even bought the tickets in advance to avoid long lines. His car was big and spacious and could easily fit my moms wheelchair.
