The bus itself is alright. It was spacious, has an onboard entertainment unit, snacks and drinks, blankets and toilet breaks. It takes around 2 hours from Downtown Yangon to get to Aung Mingalar Bus Station. The bus station itself is very confusing so try to get your hotel to deal with the taxi driver to drop you right at the bus company's booth. Otherwise you will not be able to find your way. However, It took Klook a whole month to confirm my ticket and I only got it right before my flight. I had to constantly email them asking for an update. I do understand that it involves a 3rd party vendor but I think it wouldn't take up to a month to confirm 2 bus tickets. The experience was not at all pleasant. I am in Myanmar now and I am still waiting for another confirmation for tickets I bought 1 month + ago. On top of that, there was no information on what we had to do once confirmation is given. The site states that we are to collect physical ticket but no indication at which terminal was given despite us emailing them for details. Aung Mingalar is a hectic bus terminal and first timers will not know where to go. Please improve upon your customer service.

DO NOT BOOK!!! We have booked the VIP overnight bus from Yangon to Inle Lake last night at 7pm but first we haven’t received which bus company we would be getting on 1 day prior, so we checked online it should be Famous bus company since JJ express doesn’t have a 7pm bus. When we got there, Famous bus company said they couldn’t find our booking and the bus was fully booked, and there were no other buses available that night AT ALL, even to other nearby towns. Me and my friend were so frustrated looking around different bus companies for over an hour and finally got on JJ express bus to Bagan and we took another domestic flight back to Inle Lake this morning. We need an explanation from the customer service and a full refund of this PAID bus ticket with all the other expenses that took us to Inle Lake for this super bad servicing. Looking forward to receiving your reply.
