Spring Flower Tour: Cherry Blossom & Azaleas in Bucheon From Seoul

An absolute top-notch tour that I recommend for anyone who wants to see something apart from Seoul, very close yet not houristy at all even during peak (azalea) season. April was great to visit Bucheon as everything was blooming and weather mild but sunny. The guide, Chuck, made it a very memorable experience! The conversation was flowing, he shared entertaining stories and I learned a lot of things about the city, Korean and local culture (including sports and industries!). The tour is a perfect mixture of nature and arts, indoor, with a short shopping and lunch stop in between (with lots of options, even as a vegetarian). You get to choose a soft drink mix from the special menu at the Media Art Exhibition. Also definitely check out the Korean bow (archery) museum right next to Wonmisan, it's worth a visit just to hold the traditional bow. Everyone I encountered at the two museums was kind and it is definitely a unique experience for anyone interested in history and contemporary (illusion/sensory) arts. Unfortunately, you cannot send the letter that you write at the exhibition, as part of the experience, outside of Korea but it is still a nice keepsake. It was overall an extraordinary day where the hours just flew by, and the Azalea mountain a definitely must-see that should be more known. Thank you a lot again for this brilliant tour!

it was a great day trip with a variety of places to see. the aquarium was great and fun feeding the animals. the flowers were beautiful at the garden. the museum was very interesting doing all the activities. i would suggest a different venue rather than the mall for lunch. the mall seemed out of place compared to the other venues offered in the day trip.

Chuck, our guide was very impressive. He contacted us in advance and informed us where the meetup will be. While driving to the destination, he would tirelessly give information on the places and to top that, he would show us perfect photo spots and take our photos. Of the 3 places we went to, the Bucheon Azaleas stood out the most. it was in full bloom and we we took lots of beautiful photos.

This trip is worth for money. Our guide, Chuck is very friendly and knowledgeable. Taking a role of tour guide and a photographer with his own style. Azalea flowers were bloom beautifully. Art museum was admirable. Recommend!
