The lady was really nice. She even offered to style my hair with accessories, however my hair is too short to be styled. There were a lot of ao dai colors and designs to choose from. However, the option sizes are very limited. The ao dais are mostly for slim people, probably because the vietnamese are slim in general. The shop can be difficult to find but it is just inside the alley almost in front of the pink church. You can rent the ao dais until 6PM
Wearing the traditional clothes of Vietnamese Ao Dai is a great experience. The lady who assists us is very kind and helped us choose the right size.
The trip to the convenience store near the pink church involves walking into the alley not far, but the church does not allow tourists to enter on Saturdays and Sundays. There are quite a few costume styles to choose from. There are small lockers to store things like clothes. The staff provides good service, is friendly, lets you try things on comfortably, and recommends sizes. Costume rentals are for 6 hours.
Hi to Ms Loan, i highly recommend this shop if you want to have a feel on what it's like wearing an Ao Dai walking through the busy streets of HCM City like a local. Ms Loan is very helpful in choosing the right fit, just located across the pink church. Don't hesitate to try this activity :)
Our TAN tour guide is a very enthusiastic local student with excellent English. They will chat with you constantly and introduce you to local attractions and delicious food.
it was good experience, we enjoyed the wearing their traditional clothes, the lady who assisted us was very nice.
This was such a wonderful and unique experience. My guide Mavis was awesome. she helped me with the exact looks and shoot I wanted along with being very knowledgeable about Ho Chi Minh. I would do this 10 more times!
I feel that the value for money is not worth it for a private translator to bring you around, especially since they only take you to three stops. If they could include more stops, perhaps six or more, then the dressing, the attire, the outfit would be more worthwhile than just having three Instagrammable spots that are publicly open to everyone.
There are many Ao Dai options to choose from, and the staff are friendly and polite, mostly communicating in English. Besides the clothing, I also added a hair braiding service. The location is a bit tucked away, so it takes a little time to find. Remember to add the local staff on WhatsApp to help you find it!
The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, and it's very close to the Pink Church.
