What to expect
Day 1: Explore the Super Sacred Valley - overnight in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town)
Begin at 06:30 Hrs. with hotel pickup. Visit Chinchero, known for its vibrant textile centers, followed by Moray’s circular terraces, and the stunning Maras Salt Mines with over 3,800 ponds. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park, famous for its massive pink stones and Inca legends. End the day with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Discover Machu Picchu
Start with a bus ride to Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided tour of its iconic sites, then explore on your own. Return to Aguas Calientes for an optional lunch before taking the train and shuttle back to Cusco, arriving by 20:30 Hrs approximately.

Train schedules and entrance to Machu Picchu:
- Train schedules: Pick-up and return times will be subject to availability, and the exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day before the tour.
- Tickets to Machu Picchu: Ticket allocation will depend on availability on the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Peru. In the event that there are no tickets available for Circuit 2, you may be assigned Circuit 1 or 3, depending on availability. It is important to note that tickets tend to sell out faster the closer the date of use, so we recommend booking in advance.
Informative meeting or briefing:
The day before the tour, our team will contact you via WhatsApp or email to coordinate the time of the briefing, which will take place at your hotel. During this meeting, our staff will explain the tour in detail and will give you the train and bus tickets, and the entrances to Machu Picchu. We will also confirm the exact pick-up time at your hotel on the day of the tour.
