- The fast boat from Sanur to Gili Trawangan/Lombok will transit at Nusa Penida for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. The total travel time from Sanur to Gili Trawangan is around 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on weather and sea conditions.
**How long does it take to walk from the ticket counter to the boarding location? **
- The boarding area is at New Sanur Harbor. Walking distance varies depending on the ticket counter, but on average, it takes 5 minutes.

I was worried because of the many bad reviews, but traveling from Gili to Sanur was actually easier and didn't take as long as going there. Although it departed late, it went from Gili to Lombok (Bangsal Beach), stopped at two nearby islands, and then stopped at Nusa Penida for 20 minutes before heading to Sanur. The second floor is more comfortable and the seats are better than the first floor. However, to use the second floor, you have to buy at least one drink or Bintang per person, which I highly recommend! Enjoy a drink or Bintang for 50,000 Rupiah per person and travel comfortably. I had a comfortable trip, and choosing a seat on the second floor was the best decision.
Boat was punctual, clean. The shop to collect tickets was easy to find. There is a 1 hour stop at Nusa, it was alright. There is Aircon and seats were clean. There is also cafes / shops around the ticket office selling coffee, for those who are there early.
There are a lot of solicitations when you go to the site, and the prices are usually 600k. However, Klook is cheaper at 400k. It is nice that the prices are transparent. The second floor of the ship was also great to see people sunbathing in the sun, playing exciting music, and drinking beer.

First of all, the fact that the price is fixed rather than negotiated is very surprising in Bali and Gili. I highly value this. It takes about an hour and thirty minutes to get from Gili Trawangan to Padangbai. Even though the waves are not high, the ride is not that comfortable. It feels like driving over a speed bump. The taxi driver who sticks to you when you get off at Padangbai Port is also a very unpleasant experience.

The ferry ticket pick-up location is clearly marked and conveniently located near the port. After picking up your ticket, a staff member will guide you to the boarding location, making the entire process smooth and easy. Purchasing tickets online is also cheaper.

Regarding boat ticket redemption, you need to arrive at the designated location 1 hour in advance to redeem your boat ticket and tag your luggage. You will also need to pay port tax fees. After redeeming your ticket, collect your luggage and follow the staff to the pier to wait for boarding. The boat will first stop at the Gili Islands (Gili T, Gili Meno & Gili Air), and finally at Lombok (Bangsal Port). Staff will attach tags to your luggage for identification.
