【 🏔️Highlights of the Itinerary】 🌿 Huaxi Yelang Valley Huaxi Yelang Valley is a fantastical ecological art park created by artist Song Peilun over more than two decades. The entire park is built upon the natural karst canyon landscape, utilizing local stone, pottery shards, and other native materials to create hundreds of stone totem poles and castle clusters with diverse expressions. These stone carvings blend ancient Yelang Kingdom legends with Guizhou Nuo culture elements, featuring a rugged and mysterious style. They coexist with the winding Siyajiang River, lush vines, and native forests, forming an open-air museum full of primitive tension. Wandering through it, one feels as if stepping into a forgotten secret realm, where the marvelous dialogue between human art and natural power is displayed everywhere.

🏯 Qingyan Ancient Town Qingyan Ancient Town is one of the best-preserved Ming and Qing military ancient towns in Guizhou, originally built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. The ancient town is built against the mountains, with crisscrossing bluestone alleys, and winding ancient city walls like a coiled dragon on the ridge. The ancient Ming and Qing architectural complexes within the city are well-preserved, with Buddhist temples, Taoist temples, and Christian churches coexisting harmoniously, witnessing the integration of diverse cultures. The residence of Zhuangyuan Zhao Yijiong and the stone carvings of Ciyun Temple all demonstrate ancient elegance and ingenuity. Looking out from a high vantage point, the layered blue tile roofs and distant green mountains form a picturesque scene. Beneath the weathered stone archways, the aroma of “Zhuangyuan Ti” (scholar’s trotters) wafts, and six hundred years of time quietly flow through every mottled bluestone slab.
