Mont Saint Michel Day Tours

Weather in Normandy region is erratic and it was gloomy during our visit. Nevertheless, Mont Saint Michel was magnificent and worth a visit. Although the journey of 4 hours one way was long, the ride was comfortable with one toilet break in between. Both guides provided great information and were helpful. The lunch place recommended was also good.

Mont Saint-Michel is very far away from Paris. It is very convenient to join the tour. The round-trip drive takes about 4-5 hours. You will stop at a rest stop along the way and you can go to the toilet to buy something to eat. You will arrive at Mont-Saint-Michel at about 12 o'clock. Around 16:15, you have to go back to the parking lot to gather and get on the bus. From the parking lot to Mont Saint-Michel, you need to take the shuttle bus. There are many people queuing up on the return trip. There will be a bus in about 5 minutes. It is recommended to reserve 20-30 minutes for queuing. By car, the scenery of Mont Saint-Michel is very beautiful, and you can have an unobstructed view from the top observation deck. However, the tour bus broke down on the way back, so you had to sit in a park and wait for the travel company to arrange it. The travel company's arrangements were very poor, and it was a long wait. It took 4 hours for another tour bus to take me back to Paris. It was already 2:15 local morning when I got back to Paris. I applied for a full refund but only a small amount was refunded. It was a bad experience this time.

i only booked the ticket entrance to the Abby. The redeem voucher is easy jisy show thw QR/barcode to them thats it.(recommended print screen the barcode as i find the place data coverage sometimes appear to be weak) Another benefit that visit the abby is u get to the top of the whole castle to see the view

Nice experience. The whole trip went well even though at the last hour of the trip rained and hailed. We got back safe and on time to Paris. The tour guide did a great job reminding people to be punctual 👏👏👏
