Sense Hot Spring Wellness and Spa in Chiang Mai

Service: The staff is friendly and kind. Environment: The environment is quiet and comfortable. Massage therapist: The massage technique is first-rate, and they are kind and friendly. Atmosphere: This is not the first time coming here, and the environment makes us very relaxed.

I believe this is my second time here since last here in 2024. This time around service was even better. Massue did an excellent job on all my tight spots. Highly recommended with hot tub after. I shall be back on every possible chance.

The hot spring bath that I personally enjoyed was very good. Adults really liked it. It was a very relaxing experience to relax in the hot spring and then get a massage. It was a bit far, but worth it. After the massage, I went to the airport.

The asesthetics were beautiful, it was very calm and relaxing. However, it was about 1hr out of Chiang Mai. you can get a grab/taxi there but no guarantees you can get one back. So make sure you have reliable transportion. Other than that I highly recommend!

It's a bit far, but the hot spring facilities are really good. The massage facilities are street level, so they're lacking compared to the facilities.

Poor facilities: After soaking in the hot spring, there was no warm water for showering, and the shower pressure was very low. No slippers were provided for the hot spring. The privacy of the spa was poor (done in the lobby with only curtains for partitions). After the spa, there was a wait for shower arrangements. The shower was in a public restroom with warm water but no temperature control, insufficient water pressure, and no place to put disposable underwear (how to change into new underwear in a wet environment?). The air quality in the spa area was poor (like an old, musty hotel). Poor massage skills: The scrub and oil massage were just like applying scrub and oil to the body, not a massage. There were no inquiries about customer preferences throughout the entire session. Finally, no shower was arranged after applying the essential oils; only a dry towel was used to wipe it off (which basically couldn't remove it). No arrangements were made throughout the entire process (after each section, you had to wait and find someone). The location is remote, about a 50-minute drive from Chiang Mai city center (MAYA Shopping Center). For those without a driver's license, round-trip transportation costs ฿1600. *I have previously tried Makkha Health & Spa, Nimman House, Zira Spa, Lila Thai Massage, and Zenza massage and spa experiences. This Sense Hot Spring Wellness & Spa is completely unacceptable.

Simply an unpleasant journey, remote location, customer services are ways to improve
