Seoul Gyeongbokgung Hanbok Photoshoot & Korean History Tour

Our visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Korea. From the moment we met James, we knew we were in good hands. He greeted us warmly, and his passion for Korean history was infectious. Speaking of photos, Jacob was nothing short of amazing. He captured our family beautifully in our hanbok, against the stunning backdrop of the palace. We had an amazing tour in Gyeongbokgung Palace. James welcomed us warmly and made sure my husband and I are comfortable during the tour and photoshoot. I had such an amazing experience on my solo travel to Korea. James is very knowledgeable about the history of the places we toured and I learned so much. When it came to the pictures I was a little self conscious and they made me feel at ease. Jacob is amazing with his photography skills. They both are amazing at what they do and it shows. I’m so glad I met them and took this tour. They even made sure that my uber picked me up from the right place to get back to my destination safely. As a solo traveler I appreciated that very much. I cannot wait to come back for another tour soon. Thank you James and Jacob.

From start of the experience until the end, everything went smoothly as indictated in the itinerary. James, who was the historian kept in contact via Whatsapp and provides useful information about getting to the meeting point and was very engaging when giving history about the gyeongbokgung in bite sizes so that it’s easily digestable. The photographer Jacob, was also very experienced and professional, he made posing feel comfortable and fun! Lastly, the partner hanbok rental was super efficient! Though the hanbok was charged separately, it was worth the value! If you’re looking for a photoshoot around a historical place, it was trully insightful to gain some knowledge at the same time. Highly recommend!

The Hanbok photoshoot and history tour with James and Jacob was amazing! It was the perfect start to our vacation! James was very knowledgeable and took personal photos and videos on our phones as well! Jacob was the main photographer and took many photos of each of us in groups and as individuals. They truly are the dream team. They’re both super friendly and have great sense of humor. Look no further and book these guys! they’re the real deal! had a wonderful hanbok experience with james and photographer. just remember to bring your winter coat with you as it gets really cold walking around. better to go during spring less the coat hassle. great experience to learn about the palace. 🙂

A long-awaited trip with dear friends turned into such a memorable day! Exploring the palace in traditional hanbok and taking part in the shooting activity was both fun and special.
