Reviews summaryHere’s a polished version of your text: The trip was well organised, and our guide, Oman, did an excellent job. He gave clear advice about each place we stopped. What I liked most was the sunset at Halong Bay. It was so beautiful and unforgettable.
it was a good cruise, nothing spectacular for me, maybe one thing is that there was no sunset because it was cloudy haha. the tour guide is good, you can really feel that they only do the working , feel like he doesn't enjoy his job much but everything went well so I'm happy with that.
not I expected for that boat, its a bit old but its well maintain inside, clean and comfortable, nice service tho. A well experience tour guide. An experience value for the price. Until next time when the weather is a bit warmer.
My family and I enjoyed our trip to Ha Long Bay and Johnny was an amazing tour guide. His energy did not change from the start to the end of the trip and he took care of the guests well. Definitely recommended!
This experience is a must when you visit Hanoi. You will be mesmerized with the beauty of The Halong Bay. It was worth your money and your time.. Our tour guide named Johny handsome gave his best to tour us around and tell us some of the Vietnamese way of living. He is one of a kind because He took the initiative to organize all the people (even the ones that are not from our group.)inside the cave to facilitate the movement of people if not we will spend long time inside. He got the energy from the start upto the end of the tour making it more enjoyable for us. Thank you Johny handsome we are very happy to meet you.
It was a well organized tour. The entire trip was enjoyable. The cruise was also nice, including small hike to the cave, the water activity, I enjoyed the kayaking. Mr Dylan was a good guide and the bus was also comfy. The cruise became more lively with sunset party with music and dance.
The trip started with pickup of all the participants from the various hotel which took an hour. This is frustrating when u are the first few and guess it cannot be avoided. The "buffet lunch" was not a buffet as there is no refill with food served to your table. The evening party comprises of just fruits and biscuits. Remember to opt for the kayak at the second location as it is more fun. Of the three places visited, the surprise cave was the best especially when u have not went into one before.
I joined this tour as a solo female traveler! It was a fulfilling day-long tour! I'll write about the flow of events in detail, I hope it's helpful :) The day before, around 10:30 AM, I received a message on WhatsApp, and again on the morning of the tour at 6:00 AM, the tour guide messaged me to let me know what time they would arrive, so I waited in the hotel lobby at that time. Then, I received a phone call. I was told to come outside because they were arriving soon, so I waited outside, and then I got another phone call. They showed up with someone riding on the back of a motorbike, haha! I thought, 'Are we going to do a three-person ride?!' But then they said, 'The bus is right over there, follow me!' So I chased after the motorbike, and the bus appeared. I boarded the bus with the person who was riding on the back of the motorbike. It was a large bus, and it seemed almost full. There were only two Japanese people, and the rest were foreigners. The bus rides to and from the destination are 2-3 hours each, and you also take a boat, so if you're prone to motion sickness, you'll need motion sickness medicine. I took some in the morning and again in the afternoon. You get a bottle of water on the bus. The tables for eating were random, but everyone was so nice, and we became friends, so we went out for dinner together after the tour. I chose the bamboo boat, and it was cool and refreshing, and there was no additional charge, so that was great! You don't get wet on the bamboo boat! The kayaks are for two people, and solo participants were paired up with random people from India, haha, and they got pretty wet. Someone even almost capsized and drowned in their kayak, so be careful! The guide, Lee, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English! The caves were also great. On the island, I climbed to the top, but it was incredibly hot!! The steps were steeper than I expected, and it took about 15-20 minutes each way. I bought a Coke at the top, but it was overpriced, so it's better to bring your own drinks. At night, the boat turned into a club, and I cooled off while watching people dance and talking to various people. Even as a solo participant, I made friends and had a great time :) Since you get on and off the bus and boat, you should definitely take a picture of the numbers! I had a lot of fun, thank you very much!!
