Go only if u love art paintings and have some familiarity with old artists and painters. Klook price is exactly the same as buying onsite at €34. So nothing fantastic about buying with Klook other than stacking vouchers. Please make sure to go Leopold Museum first before going the other one. Travel light and preferably no bags. I spent 1h15min for Leopold, and 2h at Kuntsthistorisches.
The Leopold museum was very interesting. Introducing me to Austrian painters that I don’t know of. Great learning opportunity. Access to museum is easy with the Klook ticket. Just show and can go in immediately.
The Leopold Museum was great. Get your energy ready. It's not that big, but it's divided into floors, so it takes about two hours. The Vienna Museum of Art History is more impressive for its interior than for the artwork. The building is really pretty. It's better to look at the sculptures first and then the paintings. When you have energy, looking at the sculptures in detail is amazing, fun, interesting, and makes you smile. When you're tired, you can recharge your energy by looking at the paintings. Since I went in the winter, there was a Christmas market between the Vienna Museum of Art History and the Vienna Museum of Natural History, which was great. If you're traveling indoors (art history, museums, operas, etc.), I think it's better to travel to Austria in the winter than in the summer. It's not humid or sweltering hot, but it's the blazing sun without any shade, or it's a little cold, but there's a Christmas market in the winter. The choice is yours. But visiting the museum is a must! Highly recommended!!
You need to exchange your ticket first at the Leopold Museum, but you could enter from either entrance. I visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum first and the Leopold Museum the next day, and both were excellent museums. I recommend purchasing and renting the audio guide separately at the Kunsthistorisches Museum. It was also available in Japanese.
I was planning to visit both museums, so I bought the tickets here. They were wonderful. However, due to lack of research, I was unable to see some of the highlights at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in a special exhibition. Even without that, I'm glad I was able to visit them during my short stay.
ıt was a smooth and amazing experience. the combined ticket is both cheaper and easier to navigate. I loved Klook!
The only drawback was that you had to enter in the order of Leopold → Kunsthistorisches Museum (you need to get your ticket and activate it at the first Leopold, so it might be OK to just activate it and go to the Kunsthistorisches Museum), but I enjoyed it enough with the combo ticket. The Kunsthistorisches Museum was more crowded.
The two museums are worth visiting. I was really happy to buy a discounted ticket package for the museum I wanted to visit. And you can buy it now and use it now. Recommend 👍
