Reviews
Our guide Masumi took us through a brisk tour of the outer market where we were able to enjoy several samples and make a few purchases. We appreciated the information and advice she shared with us there. She also guided us on the bus to the cooking studio for the sushi making class with Akiko. The class was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the expert tips. The best part was eating the sushi we made by hand. Thanks to the wonderful guide and instructor!
Awesome and fun! Guide was very attentive and explained the history and what’s happening around. Makes it very interesting and enjoyable.
A professional tour guide service and especially enjoy the Sushi making lesson. Bravo!
It is a special experience. The instructor is very friendly and kind. The sushi is very interesting. Each step is clear and careful. The materials are prepared in advance. It's fun to fry your own Japanese-style rolls.
We had a great time doing this tour. Lucy, our guide, explained and pointed out a lot of useful info. The sushi-making class was a lot of fun too! Kanori made us feel like experienced sous chefs!
THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN. A big thank you to Naomi - the guide - for being so personable and bubbly; explaining about the market and knowing which stalls you can sample snacks from. Naomi also took wefies with us and emailed me a bunch of photos. Very nice (but I haven’t downloaded it yet hehe! Miwako was the instructor at the ABC studio and she was lovely! We had the best time rolling tamagos and sushi! And then enjoying our hard work in our mouth. Yum! The studio is near Ginza so you can do your shopping after. Thank you; this is a must-do!!!
We joined the afternoon tour to the fish market. It was very hot. Recommended to join the morning session in summer time. The tour guide was great. She could speak good English and she explained the things in the market clearly. She also told us some history about the market. The cooking instructor could speak good English too. We enjoined the cooking class very much. It was fun and fantastic. We tasted our food with some sake after cooking. It was a great experience overall.
We were met by guide Lucy, at the exact time. We went 1 hour early to the meet up point as we wanted to avoid the rush hour crowd at the train stations. Lucy brought us to the Tsukiji market where we tried the delicious fresh seafood. Then we took a bus to the cooking school. It was an enjoyable experience. No regrets! We get to eat the sushi we made.
Tsukiji Market is a seafood lover's delight. You can shop for fresh and dried seafood. The cooking activity is a delight. I gifted this activity to my mom and she was very appreciative of the lesson, the guide and the teacher. The class had a relaxed ambiance.
