What to expect
📢 Pre-trip Notice
- Within 24 hours after placing your order, staff will send a confirmation message via Klook voucher to confirm your travel information. Please check it carefully.
- Approximately 18:00 to 21:00 the day before departure, we will confirm the guide or vehicle information with you. Please gather at the designated location and time.
🕗 Meeting Time and Location
- Approximately 1 hour before your train departure time, make your own way to Chengdu East Station to take the bullet train 🚄. Upon arrival at Huanglong Jiuzhai (or Songpan/Huangsheng Pass), the driver will be waiting for you at the station exit to gather and take you to Huanglong Scenic Area.
🚆 Day 1: High-speed Rail Station to Huanglong to Jiuzhaigou
- In the afternoon, visit Huanglong Scenic Area. It is recommended to take the cable car to the top of the mountain and then walk down, enjoying the scenery along the way.
- Five-Color Ponds: The calcified pond clusters are like God’s palette 🎨.
- Golden Sand Paving: Golden calcified beach flows shimmer like dragon scales.
- Dinner: Complimentary hotel dinner 🍲, safe and delicious.
🏞️ Day 2: Jiuzhaigou Tour to High-speed Rail Station

- Altitude 2500-3100 meters. It is recommended to take the sightseeing bus uphill and then tour from top to bottom.

This tour package was absolutely fantastic! The journey from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou was incredibly convenient, and we were provided with dedicated service throughout the trip. This two-day, one-night Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong tour was absolutely worth it! Private car and driver, no need to share, so convenient! Oxygen bottles were also prepared in the car, making high-altitude travel much more reassuring.
Joining this tour group really saves time and worry. It only takes 1.5 hours from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou, which is really convenient. The itinerary is very reasonable, and there is enough time to enjoy each attraction. The driver is very nice and took good care of us. He also introduced us to a lot of local customs and practices.
The communication with the local driver was barrier-free and the service attitude was very good, which made people feel very warm. The vehicles were all very new and comfortable to sit in, and I didn't feel tired during long journeys. There was no need to worry about the luggage problem, as the trunk space of the vehicle was sufficient.
The hotel arrangement was great, the twin bed room was very comfortable, and we slept well at night.The whole itinerary was very smooth, with no forced consumption, highly recommended!
If not for the driver experience, it would have been a great tour. We had a little bit of time when returning back to Chengdu and the driver took us to a relative's store. I think I got scammed with the herbs that he recommended me to get. Otherwise our family stay at Days Inn by Wyndham was amazing. Overall truly scenic and stunning views.
For tourists who like natural scenery, Jiuzhaigou Huanglong is definitely a must-see attraction. This trip gave me a deeper understanding of Sichuan. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip and it was very cost-effective!
I strongly recommend buying the Huanglong Scenic Area's cableway and sightseeing car, which are well matched and save a lot of energy. The water in Jiuzhaigou is so beautiful that it makes people intoxicated. Each pool is like a carefully arranged work of art.
The scenic spot is too far away so you have to join a tour group, drive yourself or charter a car to get there. Thank you to the staff of this team for being very friendly to us and for making proper arrangements for the itinerary, especially "Judy Xiaoyue" who has been assisting and following up on our itinerary. The hotel we chose is comfortable and close to the scenic spot, which is really great. 👍👍

- [About Train Tickets] The itinerary does not include round-trip train tickets from Chengdu to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station, which you need to purchase yourself. For the outbound journey, it is recommended to purchase tickets for trains arriving before 08:30. For the return journey, it is recommended to purchase tickets for trains departing after 20:30. If you need a butler to purchase them on your behalf, please contact us at least 14 days in advance to arrange ticket purchase.
- [About Entry] All scenic spots require entry with your original ID card or passport/Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan travel permit. Please be sure to bring the document you used when booking your tickets. If you are unable to enter the scenic spot due to forgetting to bring relevant documents or incorrect documents, you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
- [About Huanglong] The recommended way to visit Huanglong Scenic Area is: take the ropeway up the mountain, transfer to a sightseeing bus, walk to Huanglong Temple (altitude 3568 meters), visit Wucai Pond along the plank road (altitude 3900 meters), and then walk down the mountain. The entire journey takes approximately 3-4 hours.
- [About Luggage] The Jiuzhaigou route is a short trip, and the vehicle has ample space for daily luggage. If you are on a long trip and carrying large suitcases, please pay attention to the size and quantity of your luggage. For reference, the trunk space of common vehicles: a 7-seater vehicle can accommodate 5 24-inch suitcases, and a 9-seater vehicle can accommodate 7 24-inch suitcases. If you have a lot of luggage, please be sure to contact customer service in advance to adjust the vehicle!
- [About Accommodation] By default, a twin room in a hotel is arranged, with 2 adults per room. This itinerary does not allow for shared rooms. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, you must purchase a "single room supplement": a single traveler will be arranged a separate room; if 3 adults are traveling, you need to purchase 3 adult tickets and 1 "single room supplement", which will arrange two rooms for you.
- Please note that travelers using China's 240-hour transit visa exemption cannot enter the Jiuzhaigou area and cannot participate in this itinerary!
