【Watarase Keikoku Railway】 The Watarase Keikoku Railway connects Kiryu Station in Gunma Prefecture with Mato Station in Tochigi Prefecture. The entire route is approximately 44 kilometers long and takes about 80 minutes to travel. The local autumn leaves are beloved by locals and tourists alike. Seasonal and original products such as railway memorial books are also sold! The best time to see the autumn leaves is from early to late November each year, when you can enjoy a magnificent view of the valley’s autumn foliage from the train window! Among the stations, Mizunuma Station was selected as one of the “100 Best Stations in Kanto” and features a unique hot spring facility on the platform.

The tour guide Xiaolin Nick is very good at leading tours, has a warm and enthusiastic personality and is very responsible! I went to see the maple leaves on 11/9 and the maple leaves were not fully visible yet. This may be due to global warming. It is also a pity that there was not enough time to enjoy the Ashikaga light show.
the tour is very rushed because of traffic condition. The time allowed for flower park in the evening was very tight. The train ride wasn't exactly I had expected. it was still a pleasant experience. The gorge was beautiful, driver and tour guide very nice and made it pleasant for everyone.
1 comment is that you have to consider the time when you return passengers to Tokyo, if it is too late for this trip, the passengers may miss their last bus and train as I missed yesterday, this will be a bit unhappy when took your tour at final stages
The tour leader's arrangement was ideal. There was a heavy traffic jam on the day of the trip. The tour leader flexibly moved the scenic spots to make the trip smoother. In addition, the tour leader also took good care of each member of the group. It was very good.
The Ashikaga Flower night lights is stunning, worth visiting, The watarase valley is beautiful. Tour guide is responsible. Good trip in the whole.
