Instructor was so kind and friendly. We even advance our schedule since we arrived earlier than our schedule. my 2 girls ages 10 and 14 enjoyed the workshop. Definitely we will come back for another workshop! 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
klook needs to include more detailed instructions on how to arrive at this location. we were almost late as the studio is second floor in a corner no where near an entrance. The description says it’s easy for beginners and advanced alike, but if you have never used a caligrafy brush you may struggle. I would also caution the instructor to NEVER say he doesn’t like something. My friend was almost in tears. Instead, simply give instruction on how to make something look more realistic. I teach acrylic painting, so I feel this is constructive feedback. People who have worked with watercolor paints will probably be most successful. Otherwise the instructor was enthusiastic and sincerely tried to help us leave with something we we proud of. This will be a favorite souvenir from Hong Kong!
The tutor was very calm and friendly, we enjoyed the workshop a lot. The result was stunning : drawing with birds and one with a temple. Also pictures taken while we were drawing. Highly recommend! So much fun.
Hi there. Highly recommend this studio! The personnel was really benevolent and helping! The level of professionalism is exceptional. We enjoyed every bit!
My daughter and mom came to do this activity together, and it was a great experience! The instructor was very patient and knew how to teach beginners the techniques. The finished product also looked great. The location is very convenient, and after finishing, you can go shopping in Times Square. Highly recommended!
This was a first time experience for both myself and my wife. Overall was very positive. The instructor spoke both Cantonese and English. He went through things step by step, although somewhat rushed given that we only had 1.5 hours to finish. My only criticism is that for our first time as people who have never picked up brushes before, the instructor chose a relatively difficult piece. Not that I was trying to be perfect, but because it was difficult, once again, felt very rushed. I would recommend this for a first time and actually a really fun date event.
Unfortunately we were given the wrong address on the booking, on the voucher, and through klook. The addresses listed through klook are no longer in operation. They have not yet been able to respond or resolve.
Thank you for choosing Klook and leaving a review. We regret to hear about the unpleasant experience you had encountered with this booking. We will further investigate on this matter and one of our specialists will be in touch with you for follow up actions. We appreciate your patience and we hope to serve you better in the future.
I CANT SAY ENOUGH HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS. This activity is a great juxtaposition to the busy streets of Hong Kong and is a great getaway for anyone wanting to learn a bit of culture (and practice their strokes). The staff are very friendly and the attention given to every student is just enough for them to learn without scaring them off or feeling intimidated. There’s also free iced tea!
This was a birthday present for the mother in law, who's an artist herself. She enjoyed the workshop and the painting experience a lot, especially the small gesturing of writing out the names in Chinese and giving a stamp on the painting. The instructor was helpful and took care of the group to get back safely to the MTR (there was a protest nearby). Definitely recommend the workshop!
Very fun 1.5 hours spent on learning brush techniques and painting your Chinese character name. We are complete amateurs to painting so I think the class was tailored to our needs.
