Reviews
They are punctual for both departure and return times. The lunch had no protein options; it was vegetarian. The elephants seemed well cared for, and the staff appeared to enjoy their work. They charge 800 baht (optional) to receive photos taken during the morning tour for two people. If you don't like them, you don't have to pay. The baby elephant is adorable.
It was a wonderful experience feeding and bathing these magnificent elephants. The staff were excellent from start to finish — from hotel pickup, to clear explanations, all the way through to drop-off. Of course, I’d love to see them roaming free in the wild, but conservation efforts like this are essential, as they can no longer survive on their own. Highly advise to bring mosquitoes repellent!!!!!
The elephant experience was amazing! The staff at the park were very friendly. The elephants were well-behaved and very cute. Both kids and adults loved it — a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
The order of the tour is to tell the elephant type, name, and age in the sanctuary, change clothes, feed it, take pictures, give it sugarcane, then go to the muddy water and get the elephants covered in mud. Afterwards, they wipe the mud off the elephants from the muddy water and provide fried rice for lunch. It was fun and it was great to see and experience the elephants up close. Seeing that other tours involve washing elephants in clear water, I think it would be a good idea to use Naver Blog to select the correct company instead of just looking at Klook.
this is the most relaxing and fun close encounter with the elephants! We made herbal vitamins for the elephants, feed them & bathe them! Plus they dont rush you on this tour. We had a good vegan lunch too! I definitely recommend this!
I have visited a few elephant places over the years but this one is by far the best. Great interaction with the elephants, they are left to move around at their own pace and not forced to do anything. No riding and no chains around the feet like iv seen at other places either, which is refreshingto see. Great experience to be up close with such a beautiful animal, giving them a mud bath and washing them down is a memory il never forget. I would highly recommend this place.
LOVED this experience! the elephants were adorable and so full of character, and the staff were engaging and very passionate telling us about the park and how to handle the elephants. we were looking for an ethical park to visit and we could tell that this was it. we were picked up at our hotel in Nimman at around 1240pm and the transport was an air con van (yay!) took us about 1hour-ish to the park. lunch is also provided - the goreng pisang/fried banana is delicious. the elephants were happy, well taken care of and sooooo adorable. they have been rescued from the circuses & lumber factories! do visit if you get the chance, it’s really worth it.
This was our favourite thing to do on our Thailand trip. we booked it the night before which was really easy, pickup was confirmed and we were ready waiting, we were unsure of our pickup time so I phoned and spoke to a lovely lady who confirmed our driver was enroute. We had a great tour guide and when we arrived at the retirement park everything was so chilled and laid back, we ate a lovely lunch of noodles, rice and sweet potato fries with water and coffee supplies. We got a chance to feed the elephants during this and plenty time to relax with the animals. we then went and gave them a mud bath but on the elephants terms, when they wanted to and then we went to the bath to wash them down which was brilliant. Everyone was so lovely, clearly loved the elephants and we were given clothes to wear and a shower after with a towel. showers were great and soap too. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who doesn't want to ride elephants and wants to see them chilling. thankyou
It was incredible to hang out with these majestic animals up close, and I left with hundreds of photos. This activity is highly recommended to any age group. They provided lunch and change of clothing. Though the cloth is quite revealing, u can definitely wear swimming attire inside and use the cloth as cover-ups. They provide towel for shower too. It is truly an amazing experience and worth the money. I am sure the funds will go to the care of the elephants.
It was a perfect tour from transportation to experiences and meals. It was nice to be able to spend time leisurely with the elephants without rushing. We provide you with clothes to wear, a place to shower, and towels. There's only body cleanser, so if you need shampoo, etc., it's a good idea to bring it with you. The meal was simple but suited my taste.
